What did you do on your 70 series today?

I was going to fit the trufit bonnet liner but decided to wait till the weekend so I can put a few sheets off stg1 sound deadener on first as the bonnet sounds very tinny when tapped.
sound deadener, sound dampening, noise insulation, dynamat, resomat, underbody, sound proofing

Oz yeah she's not to bad other then a bit of bad clearcoat and rusty windshield frame however My fleet supervisor has given me the wag of approval haha

That's the bonnet liner they won't ship to US... costs too much they say.

That's the one mate it won't roll up and would have to be shipped in the flat box. These would need to be top packed in a shipping container.

The other night I baked saturated desiccant pellets to restore their drying properties.

Re-filled my inline air dryer

Then I sprayed PPG Omni epoxy primer all over the disassembled winch parts.
Top coated today with rattlecan VHT Epoxy paint.

I fitted the trufit liner 3 of the clips where not centered but that could have been my fault. I can hear the exhaust now and bonnet feels heavy with no drumming.

Installed my Spider Trax spacers last night. I thought I had a brake problem as I asked my wife to step on the brake for me for the front rotors and the darn things were spinning freely. I went to see what was going on and she was pushing the darn clutch instead of the brake... She has only driven this RHD beast once.

I drove mine 2200 miles to get it home, slept in the back at rest areas.

Spent Sunday inspecting it. Finding all the stuff the P.O. failed to disclose.

Can't figure out how the rear cargo dome light works. It's getting 24v and the bulb has continuity, not sure how the toggle works though, it won't slide, maybe it's just crusty and needs further dis-assembly.

I replacement mine as it was burned to all hell. They are still avail new if you want to spend the coin.
