secondary impact rock crusher used in a limestone operation.
the rock was already screened before seeing this, so everything was already a fairly uniform size....vs the primaries which saw rock almost straight from blasting.
wish they would have opened one of the side doors to show the swing beam.
made them for coal and bauxite as well.

Got a delivery of 3d printed parts for a project I've been working on for a LONG time! Still waiting on the laser cut/formed parts. It's an exciting day!

its an SBM 10-6-4ES and it just showed up on the first page....getting parts might be an issue as the company has been out of business for nearly 20 years....and the engineer that designed them died a couple years ago.
it was like opening a door and seeing my 20something year old self when i saw the pictures of it.........except both the crusher and myself looked much better back then.

Panic device for commercial exit doors. It's my current main project at work.
Getting help from some of the other guys now that we are all stuck at home, so the project is in overdrive!

Finally found on eBay a rubber shift boot that I thought might work with my Toybox shifter. Turns out it's a Mr. Gasket item and I like it cause it has a nice steel hold down ring. the old boot had no ring, was held to the floor with only two screws, and was torn besides! Not easy to get at, guess that's why I've been putting the task off for some time. Had to remove the driver seat and Tuffy console to get at the long bracket that spans the transmission hump and supports both seats. Getting the console out wasn't easy as I have a small fuse box (6 position) mounted on it and also have an extra 12V power outlet and the switch for my reverse light mounted on the console. Had to re-do a few pieces of hard wiring but nothing major. Got the new boot in and am letting the paint dry on the seat bracket with intention of putting it all back together tomorrow.

I'm going to a Ramstein show this summer. I figured why not.
The weather was nice today, a little windy but enough to make it comfortable to mow the grass and do other things outside.
Since the Tundra is full of metal in the bed I had to break out the trailer with the 4Runner to move all the clippings from trimming everything down:
I'm really mad, last year the neighbor's lawn car company trimmed this bush down on her side only. This is the first year however that it didn't bloom on OUR side! I trimmed it in hopes it will love again. Also raked underneath. Literally the first time since we have moved in I am able to see the utilities underneath: of
I didn't realize how bad this bush was till u started to cut it back (was actually starting to reach our front door), so it might get pulled if it doesn't look like it will recover.

You didn’t have the 30mph winds we had over on this side of the bay? Wanted to finish mulching and cutting down some bushes today but didn’t feel like working in a tornado
No, the occasionally gust but other then that it wasn't too bad.
I did almost kill myself because I'm an idiot.
A) I didn't eat anything till I finally got done everything I was doing (started at 10am, ended at 6pm)
B) I didn't take any allergy medication and oh boy did I think I had Corona at the end of the day (actually checked my vitals and I'm good thankfully)
I saw a shopping from Home depot role 1/4 mile in the wind and hit 3 cars before stopping.
I've been to Germany twice. Learn the basic phrases and just ask if they speak English. Just ask 'sprechen sie englisch" then " Ich nein sprechen Deutsch" . 99% of Germans speak English. Mostly from watching Friends on TV. But anyway they love Americans and like a chance to break into the 'Smelly Cat' song when they have a chance. JK.

^^^ This - I took 8 years of German and at one point was actually fairly fluent. I wound up in Germany a few years ago for business and tried my damndest to speak German. Granted, I was rusty - but within one or two sentences they'd just stop me and say "I speak English" and we would go from there. Of course, once everyone got nice and drunk at Oktoberfest, it became a game to make me try and say things in German so everyone could laugh at my "American Accent," piss poor grammar, and incorrect word choice. Humbling, but a lot of fun!
They are camping fanatics too. Weird seeing BMW/'s and Mercedes towing pop up campers. They are serious. And really just good people.
Made a deck go away that I hated yesterday. I’m pretty pleased with the results.
