I tried to better secure this speed sensor and now the speedo doesn't work at all and I have a PO500 code
I can't help but I'd surely be in touch with whomever I bought the winch from. Looking forward to seeing how you make out. I'd thought of doing the non-solenoid upgrade and making my Warn 8274 remote controlled but never did it. Would also like to replace my steel cable with synthetic but haven't done that either.Dumb question of the day ... does anyone have the wireless Warn remote system? Can you explain how it orients to plug in and if I need to do something with this extra pin and ground wire?
It has a plug in that is round and all the sockets have pins, but the winch itself is missing a pin in the 2 o'clock spot on the socket. The setup came with what looks like a pin and an attached grounding wire, but no instructions other than plug the remote unit in. All the photos show it plugging in vertical, but mine plugs on the horizontal. Just don't know it I can plug it incorrectly and don't want to short anything out. I expected the instructions to be much better.

s***!Sitting here broke down on the PA turnpike between Dillsburg and Harrisburg. Transmission fluid everywhere. Bot sure if I blew a line or what. Everything is covered in it ... just going to tow it to Toyota in York to get looked at. Don't feel like ruining my clothes to crawl around under it right now.
You probaby want a engine stand too.
