Yeash. I guess lucky that was far enough away from the house.
At the very least. Looks like you can use the lumber from that tree to build another garage if needed....

It was all I could do with my jonny homeowner saw, juuuust enough to get all the way around.

There is good lumber in this 100yo red oak, (25' by at least 30" diameter) but there must be a glut in the market currently....

Any guidance would be appreciated, I don't know where to begin trying to sell it....

Next project is to possibly resurrect the goat pig, pictured here under a car cover. I got the truck from Eric Oldenburg it has a front axle issue but runs strong what with a Jasper 350 in it with only 30000 miles on the clock. Was Tom Humphries' truck for years and apparently has quite the land cruiser history in it- check out the old Lobster Fab sticker!View attachment 1646349 View attachment 1646350 Been thinking about getting a more solid 55 body to transfer the running gear to but so far haven't done anything about that. My nephew Zach would love to have the 350 in his 40, ya never know if that could happen or not. The 55 is (probably terminally) rusty and I have no plans to make it into even a presentable driver. Having said that it is still PA inspected until late this year! Stay tuned............
I had a very vivid dream about riding around in a lifted 55 last night that I swear was inspired by this post. Good luck with whatever you decide to do with it.

What ended up being the problem?

Well, we think the transfer case. The mechanic does anyway. I'm keeping the old transfer and installing a new/used one for now so I can go wheeling. The parts guy sent a 93 case, so it was the wrong one and the replacement is not in until tomorrow. Snow may delay it, but I hope he can get it in by the weekend. The old one, I'm going to have someone else than my guy rebuild with a Marlin low-low unless someone convinces me otherwise.

@Pacer put that on Craigslist. Couldn’t begin to guess what it’s worth but if you want it gone more than anything would be best bet.

Speaking of craigslist, if anyone ever shafts you in some kind of deal making a “free cord of wood” ad and using said persons phone number is a great way to get some passive aggressive revenge. Just be sure to specify that you work in a foundry on third shift so it’s best to call after midnight and speak really, really loud. Not that I’d ever do such a thing...

I once sold a truck cap on cl for a neighbor. I was tire of looking at in their yard. I didn' tell them I listed it and their phone number was on it. So.... it sold in 2 days, the caller told them it was on cl, and I never asked them about listing it for them, and I stated in the add I was sick of looking at it.

I hope my neighbors never think of that I'll start getting calls to sell all kinds of junk around my house!!

It's bad enough all the peaple that stop to buy the mini truck!!

I had the same thought!

My aunt’s place, in the driveway they have a couple cars, a couple pickups, a dump truck, a trailer, a couple tractors, and a bulldozer. People are always pulling in figuring it is a used car lot.

Transfered the lift this morning.
Have the bumper out for paint.
Had cleaned up a set of alloy oems a while ago, so had the bfgs mounted on them.

Looks great! Is that the same Salsa red pearl paint code that they used on some of the new tundras and 08-15 LCs?
