@Cass007 whats the scoop on that co2 tank set up? I’ve been kicking around the idea of making my own, but if I could put it together for a reasonable price I’d gladly buy pre assembled components.

taking a page out of @Crusha book, and knowing that my spare time is limited, I sent the 200 out to CO to have a @gamiviti rack installed and mount up my Shadow awning that's been sitting in the shop loft for 2+ years now. Tim took great care of the truck and it looks awesome!

It is now getting a rear bumper and sliders from @BIOR. Hoping to sneak out there at the end of the month and take a week or so to have a circuitous fun trip home.

Crusha ... let me know if you have the harness side too please. It appears that may be the part that is damaged.

Blair ... I tried to assemble on the cheap, but ran into an issue finding the proper regulator. I got the 10lb tanks from Airgas, purchased 2 of them outright for ~$135 each and they will be less than $20 to refill. The only other regulator I could find for CO2 other than the Powertank was one that measured flow rate for welding and flow was not easily converted to psi.

The regulator from Powertank was pricey, but it works very well and doesn't leak at all. It will be worth it if I can use it for many years. Plus, PT has a trade-in program to send in older regulators and get a new version at a discounted (still not cheap) price.

Dumb question of the day ... does anyone have the wireless Warn remote system? Can you explain how it orients to plug in and if I need to do something with this extra pin and ground wire?

It has a plug in that is round and all the sockets have pins, but the winch itself is missing a pin in the 2 o'clock spot on the socket. The setup came with what looks like a pin and an attached grounding wire, but no instructions other than plug the remote unit in. All the photos show it plugging in vertical, but mine plugs on the horizontal. Just don't know it I can plug it incorrectly and don't want to short anything out. I expected the instructions to be much better.

I can't help but I'd surely be in touch with whomever I bought the winch from. Looking forward to seeing how you make out. I'd thought of doing the non-solenoid upgrade and making my Warn 8274 remote controlled but never did it. Would also like to replace my steel cable with synthetic but haven't done that either.

I have the VR-10000S and mine plugs right in. No need for the ground wire.

@dci blair here is the regulator I have. 150 PSI FIXED REGULATOR OA-REG150

It's $80 now but was $50 when I bought mine.

@Cass007 My logic says that new pin should be a power or ground wire. I'm guessing ground since the transmitter could probably get power from the other pins but probably can't ground through them without activating somthing. But I don't know for sure. Look for a wiring diagram.

Sitting here broke down on the PA turnpike between Dillsburg and Harrisburg. Transmission fluid everywhere. Bot sure if I blew a line or what. Everything is covered in it ... just going to tow it to Toyota in York to get looked at. Don't feel like ruining my clothes to crawl around under it right now.

s***!
On your 80?
I'd look at trans cooler lines first. Sux, good luck!

The fan got into the cooler line for the radiator on the pass side. Made a small hole that sprayed like an artery or put fluid right into the fan and the fan put it everywhere. Already have the truck back from Toyota. One of the techs had the piece of harness for the speed sensor as well, so I got that fixed too.

Only upside was that I got to test out the recovery points

I need to get on working out a fix to the drop the radiator back down an inch and get the shroud back on. I've seen how others that did the 1" body lift have done it, but do not like it. Think I will try to fab up some small brackets so the side pieces stay in the same spot and just the radiator itself drops back down.

Trying to get out to Philly area this weekend to grab that spare motor from Bruce if I can. Not sure how to transport 600lbs of boat anchor easily.

@Cass007 got a trailer? Back it unto your garage then unhook it and use your new winch and that beam to unload it. You probaby want a engine stand too.

Bruce has been great. All set to pick up the engine from him in 2 weeks. Borrowed a trailer from a friend so the transport can be as easy as possible. Hoping for a drama free week so I can just prep for Saturday wheeling.

I got the front and rear diff breather extensions done yesterday. I wanted to tie in the trans and tx case breathers too, but wasn't sure which lines they are. Are they the two rubber lines that terminate on the trans fluid dipstick?
