The frame is good.
I got it starting, running and stopping.
Gonna snatch the body off and rebuild the floor/trans tunnel using the steel from a 55gal drum.
I feel it needs some sort of cage if I'm gonna drive it at all, it's such a tin can, and the floor is rotted at all four corners. Opportunity knocks.
All new springs and shocks.
It would be nice with some 33s

They are 4runner/80series offset.
Trail gear makes a nice 3 link for back of muni trucks. Might be worth looking into if u gonna wheel this hard

Yes. It is a Dirty Deeds industries Hi-tuck custom with a BAMuffler. The guy does really nice work. Bolted up very easily
I'm leaning towards leaf sprung.
If I start linking this thing I'll never finish it.
Probably kick myself later when I start beating on it.
Nothing wrong with leafs. It saves you from relocating the fuel tank.
Regarding the crossmember mine is from sky off road design. Bud built makes one so dose trail gear.
I raised mine 1.5" too. Since your redoing the tranny tunnel now is the time.
Get a dual case crossmember that way you can still use it when you add the crawl box.

Not a problem any longer. FYI, even though the plugs, wires, cap and rotor all looked new, it ran better immediately with OEM. Good quality time under the hood and #6 wasn't even that hard to get in and out.
I didn't have time to start on the belts or rear pads. Maybe next weekend.
