Wow - that's amazingly clean...

Now don't go driving it in the Northern Provinces !

Finally, i got the rims which i was looking for since long. 7 JJ 15 with 3.25" back spacing, semi hollow steel rims in total original condition and paint. I know the previous one's were beautiful, but they r also not bad at all. What do you say????????

I have always liked the gray steel wheels that come on the cruisers overseas. The even put the gray steelies on the new workmates in Aus!

I wish we could get these in the states!

I want to make a thread with nothing but 60-series oddities, like third row seats, rear a/c, etc.

This one is a prime example of options and set-ups for non-USA markets.

I have 111 photos of the most immaculate HJ60 any of us have ever seen in 20+ years. Working on putting them all in one place...

I live in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan and the cruiser was in use of an intelligence agency since it was zero meter and was always kept in good condition and under observation. Even till 2009 december (when it was auctioned), it did not have the free wheel hubs in it, had original 5.5" JJ 16 steel rims, all stock. It's never been driven off the road, as these agencies only make use of them for a very little office work, clean them and than park them in the garages.
And this cruiser is in 100% stock condition, like the wiring in engine and under the dash board, original carpets, original seat covers, all rubber parts are stock.

Thans for the pics,
In this part of the world we don't see original cruiseres in that great of shape,
My regards to you and have a hapy EED with only few days remaining in the month of Ramadan,
Pease Brother.

ThorH, what is that?

That is a clean 62! Love the cargo doors.

Amazing truck. Treat it well. My favorite rims were the originals, but those white wagon wheels are second. I'm glad you ditched the modern looking ones. What are your plans for it? Lift and go on adventures, or keep it fresh and use it as a daily driver?

@ jgordon
I am a very keen hunter and in the winters i go out with my team even thrice a week. We hunt partridges, ducks and quails. The terrain we have here in Pakistan (areas near the capital Islamabad) are semi mountainous and has got roads and tracks to reach the hunting grounds. So not much offroading is required. So i think i must keep it as close to stock as possible.
As far as the rims are concerned, the stock rims are 16 X 5.5" wide and these ones are 15 x 7" wide. With the existing tyres, ie 31 X 10.50 R 15, the cruiser looks good, is balanced and more comfortable.

Today, i completed my self made roof rack. It was my own design looking like a single plate, very strongly built, around 30 KG's in weight. All steel. I think it will be able to carry very heavy loads as well. Painted black, mat finished.
I would appreciate your comments.
