Just to the left (toward driver’s door) of the dash dimmer reostat. Nothing in the fsm that I can find. Maybe the front headlight cleaner in the 60’s? I’d like to use the slot for auxiliary lighting but the spot is kinda short (33mm x 25mm) and I’m having a hard time finding a rocker to fit here. Any thoughts on what it was for or a source for an original or replacement rocker? Thanks!

On most US cruisers it was just a blank, not sure if it served a purpose for some of the ones overseas.

I ordered a simple rocker from rust farmers. Emailed to see if it was the proper size for the stubby cutout but no response yet. Thanks guys.
