New to edmonton

Hey... I'm new to the edmonton area... just lookin for some people to go out with for some fun.. I drive an 08 FJ cruiser.. still bone stock, but I want to put sliders and a roof rack and bumpers on it... and I'm in the market for some new tires to replace the original balloons its riding on...

I'm a welder for Edomton Exchanger... but i dont have a garage to work on my cruiser in... so until I buy another place... the cruiser stays as is...

Anyone else out there with a fjc ?

Welcome Rabbit.

I believe there is another guy around here with one, but I haven't heard from him in a while.
Do you work at the South Side Edmonton Exchanger?

I can't post pictures on here. I don't know if it is a membership issue, or a technical difficulty between my chair and the computer, but regardless, I lose.

I think you need a minimum of 10 posts, or you can link them in from photobucket or someplace like that.

Hi everyone its been long overdue but I finally came on the forum. Not sure why I waited so long in the first place. Driving an 83 pickup heres a picture.

Hello!

I'm Dean. Originally from the west coast and a long line of 1982-86 Celica Supras. Picked up a '97 LX450 a couple months ago and have been absorbing ever since. It needs a bit of work but I intend on having it ready for the summer. Look forward to meeting up with some people to go break stuff!

Welcome! You should really check out Dorikaze.net if you haven't yet in regard to your Celicas. It's an oldschool Toyota forum mainly Canadian based, stuffed full of great information and builds.

HJ60

Hey all,

Thought I would introduce myself to the group after being invited over by Canadianbum. I have been lurking for some time though.

Chased down the 60 as I was fond of them in my childhood and my wife grew up in one.

Hope to get out for some trail runs, make some minor mods, all while keeping the old girl running.

Welcome, it is surprising how so many people are connected to their cruisers. There will be various runs coming up in the future. Even more than what is posted so far.

And mild mods usually turns out to be a lot of mods, just seems to be the way of the cruiser bug.

I am Dean live in smith started 4x4 in BC when I was 18 moved to Slave Lake about 13 years ago and still trying to find mud holes with bottoms lol I have a 84 toy with lockers all around running on 33" boggers with a LG engineering motor with rev limiter.

Welcome, we do lots of wheeling year round all over the place so you will have lots of opportunity to do some wheeling with fellow Toyota enthusiasts.

Hello,

Been lurking in the forums for a few months now as I researched, purchased, and waited for my 1995 HZJ77 ZX. Thought it was time to introduce myself.

My name is Ryan. I'm and Edmonton fire fighter and father of 2. Been a fan of LC's for a long time, finally got fed up with my Range Rover, and can't drive my old CJ very much with kids now, so thought it was time to get a real truck. My truck showed up 2 days ago, and I left yesterday for a week in Kamloops, all I can think about is getting back to it asap. Wanted to take it on the trip but no time to finish paperwork.

Anyways, looking forward to get to know everyone here. I will post pics as soon as I can.

Welcome, I'm sure you will make it out on one of our wheeling trips. Or camping trips, or fishing. There will be lots more to come for the future here.
