The Truck looks killer and I am guessing you didn't skin the inside of the doors because you can't afford anymore weight! LOL Iron Pig Racing.....:

Wait until you see the custom skins by buddy made! Complete with handle trim and all! Trick Stuff!

was it hard to get all the sponsors lined up?

Yes! Very much so! Lots of hard work and such!

We have a great list though! Tried our best to keep it all in the LC community!

Kevin,

Do you need any Pit or support help? I am familiar with the penninsula ( ex Score Class 22 open bike racer). Give me a shout if you need help. I would be jazzed to be a part of this.

Tim

That's awesome! Congrats!

That is too cool! I'll be sure to follow you on the Baja news. I have a buddy entering a VW Bug, I'm sure you will lap him. Best of luck to you guys!

Well hopefully he doesn't lap him because that means things are going bad! Class 11 Bugs are the last to go off the finish line.

That and its a Point to Point race! :D

SICK!

good luck man, drive fast, take chances, get wide at the start, skinny to the finish.

I'd donate some cash if I can get a XXL shirt.

would love to see it at SNT for your pre-run suspension test!

Finishing and within the time limit is a huge accomplishment in full size stock class. You are looking at 40+ hours of hard driving just to finish. Drive smart and don’t take chances. You cant win if you don’t finish. Best of luck to the team.

I'm with Pablo; If you don’t take some chances you won’t win, if you're not first, might as well be last :D

Assume you’re brings a bunch o' spare parts. , beefing up the front bumper, adding lights, breather system in the cabin, etc.

Good luck
Brian

For sure! You are looking at 40+ hours of hard driving just to finish.

If we are lucky!! :D We are estimating 50+

Thats exactly right! We are taking the "To Finish First, You Must First Finish" mentality with us!

Best of luck to the team

Thanks!

HA! :D Something tells me that you have not raced Baja before huh? :D

Oh?? We still have some prime real estate available! Email: kevin@bajaoverland.com

Slight possibility but i wouldnt count on it! We need more real world testing conditions, dunes dont really do much for me anyway, just gets sand into everything, not sure we wanna do that

Not true in Baja!

I'm if you're not first, might as well be last :D

However, this statement IS true in Baja! :D

-Yes, 6 full 80 series rigs, all support team members are under the understand their rigs are rolling parts rigs! :D
-Front Bumper, yes, we have to keep the stock plastic things per the rules but they will be VERY beefed up
-Lights, yes 11 HIDs, YES, 11
-Yes, breather system too!

Get Some!

Only if you drive that thingamcbob in your avatar! :D

Email replied to!

I would hate to take away your chances of victory by entering the "secret weapon". That "thing" was tearing up the pits a few years back and even made it into the Dust to Glory video.

I hope you guys get to work out all of the bugs and do some pre-running- it's an epic event that will tax you both physically and mentally.

Remember-
"IN BAJA - NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM"
