Gotta start somewhere with this, how many watched dr. Zhivago and the boleschevick revolution?

My. Question to you is what would you do to prepare, home,defense,food,etc
How many rounds of ammo would you order and what types of guns would you want.
Please do not make a joke out of this I tend to see things in advance at times.

2: AR15
3: semi-auto 9mm
4: 1911 .45 acp

Have plenty of ammo for each, with cleaning supplies. A SHTF bag or case that has survival gear and water, a gun and ammo that you could grab quickly and fit in the car. One backpack for each family member with a 72 hour survival supply.

Stock the garage or basement with as much as you can afford in can goods, water, flour, rice, etc.

Check out the the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS for the best info. Those Mormons are prepared for the holocaust, and they freely give out all of their tips.

remember when u buy ammo in bulk to make sure to get non corrosive. A good case of each is good unless it is less than 250 rounds. I want one of those gun safe things u can bury. Trust me i already have a certain spot in the house i can put weapons in case the man thinks he can come take them. We already put food back but honestly not nearly enough. I also would add a 22lr to the gun list. Nice and quiet and perfect for small prey.

It isn't going to happen. It will never get to the point where you have to worry about your safety. Even if the government collapses the state and local municipalities will still be around. I don't think we will ever get to a point where our government collapses.

While I agree with you never underestimate how fragile the "thread" is that holds a civil society together. Look at any natural disaster such as Katrina or the San Fran. earth quakes back in the 90's to see how quickly order can deteriorate into mass pandemonium. And once you lose order as a country it is very hard to restore.... just look at the middle eastern countrys

that said you won't see me stocking up on guns, ammo, and food....... all I need is my cruiser, guess I am a minimalist

In all honesty if it gets to the point you guys are suggesting, a survialist situation, with me being a Type 1 Diabetic I wouldn't make it more than a week or two with out my meds. So I don't concern myself with such things

My point was middle eastern countries where once like us, very civil and advanced nations for their time. They are the birth place of science, math, and the written language and now look at them constantly fighting for the last thousand years And you are exactly right it is a different mindset and thus my point exactly; that it is almost impossible to change once it sets in. And that is why I brought up Katrina to illustrate how quickly civil and orderly mindset can change to lawless. If something triggered the whole country in that direction it would be almost impossible to stop and restore order.

sooner or later they will come for your guns. That ia when u start worrying. Why do u think our enemies have never tried to invade. Not only would they be fighting the military but every other abled body person in the area with a gun and a sense of duty to there country.
I myself believe it will get that bad one day but that there are still too many christians trying to stand there ground to be bulldozed over. Now in 20 yrs. that could all change. All the govt. wants to do is control you and yes that includes local govt. as well. I always heard about one world currency well as far as i am concerned we already have it . Just mention the word greece out loud and watch your 401k take a nose dive.
