There's a wake (like a squirt from a water jet) in the reservoir when going into high at the very end before the pump stops. AHC fluid is one graduation above min line in Normal. I assume this could cause air to enter in but wanted to check if it's normal before buying another can of fluid.
I bought my first LX (03) a few weeks ago and just did an AHC flush using the 6 ounce each actuator bleed I read on here. The PO had a can he bought a few months ago but it wasn't full so I assume he topped it off. The level was well over the max line in N when I got it. I didn't notice this issue before so maybe that's why it was so high.
I get 8 graduations between L and H and everything seems to be working well. I'm inclined to just get another can and flush it further because I wasn't happy knowing there was more old fluid still in here since I did a conservative bleed. Still I've been going a little overboard on maintenance and trying to avoid tons of unnecessary spending if I can avoid it.
Also I'm assuming if this is an issue, it would be fine to drive as long as I don't set it to high until I get more fluid.
