VIN PLATE

@ToyotaMatt was the VIN plate guy in the past. Far as I know no one else has picked up this task?
 
Well if you can't find what you are looking for new, have you tried to repair the one you have? Cheaper paint (rattle can stuff) can be quickly removed by wiping it with a ragged damped with methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. Read and heed the MSDS for that stuff. I will also remove other stuff with more time and elbow grease.

Keith Rucker over at vintage machinery dot org has someone he uses to make new data plates for some of the machines he restores. A different guy make new decals for old machines. You will need a good picture with scale to get estimate of cost to have it done.
You could watch the excellent vids until find the ones I refer too, but likely ask/search on his site.

That's quite a low number. "Toyota Trails" would have been black and white back then.
Pretty sure they were still b&w when i joined.
