I am shopping for a front bumper for my GX460 and I like the look of the victory blitz. I am new to the mod world and just looking for any input or feedback. Thank you in advance for your time.

ARB is the only manufacturer that I know of who makes a bumper that works with the airbag system. They also don't laser cut their logo into everything. I would go ARB all day over anything else.

I'm going to be ordering a Blitz for my '22 pretty soon. The front overhang is so terrible.

ARB will not confirm that there 4Runner bumper will fit a GX 460.

I think they’re extra cautious because they make good s*** and don’t want to risk being weong. Doubt they have the Lexus version of the 150 in Australia to confirm. I would call an American vendor but pretty sure it does in fact fit.

I think I’ll try contacting them directly and see if it has changed with 2017 and newer. Do they do any suspension components, or just body protection?

I have a 2018. I contacted ARB in March of 2020, as of then they would not confirm it would fit. That being stated Ironman states its compatible with new GX and is air bag rated.

With all this being said I had an Ironman bumper on mine. They are heavy, stick way out, offer near zero visibility or access to the winch line/drum. I have the Victory Strike on order* (more on this later in my build thread). It's a bit lighter and has better access/visibility to the winch line/drum. But has its own flaws.

The Ironman bumper is a PITA to install. There are a few threads stating this and mine is one of them. Most shops will charge a hefty price for a Ironman installation. Its doable for sure but you better have done a few cut type bumper installations and have a decent understanding of how to contour power steering lines, access the radiator, fastener thread protrusion, routing of sensor lines and lighting wiring.

This is the suspension I installed built to my specs and build weight. It is excellent. Get the options as well.

I installed the Victory Blitz over the weekend with a couple friends. Victory's Youtube video is easy to follow but took quite a bit longer than the 30 minutes video implies. If you go for the one of the "stealth bumpers" like Victory Blitz or the CBI I'd recommend trying to make a template out of cardboard or something to line up your bumper cuts.
We didn't think of that and had to do quite a bit of cutting, testing fitting, more cutting then more test fitting. I still have some final trimming/shaping I want to do but it's bolted on there now.

I can't wait for this pain in the ass install. Pix?

I agree that Victory does put out some good assembly videos!
Both products that I've purchased have been very easy to install after going through their online videos.

But as the old saying goes, measure twice, cut once, or with bumpers, trace/align twice, cut once.

Just a couple quick snaps from the garage. This is actually a prototype of the Blitz that was too good a price to pass up so there are probably some minor differences between mine and the retail version. I need to do a bit of cleanup on the cuts and get some edge trim (or sanding) done but I am quite pleased with the overall look and the quality of the bumper itself.

Is that the Diode Dynamics 18" light bar? That's what I'm looking at getting.
