Pretty cool to have exotic, well-made tires but tear a sidewall in one and the whole set's toast cause you can't get a spare?

I suppose the price is low enough to take the chance.

Seems almost reasonable.

And gone... Was it a good deal?

I'd say so. 78 Fj40 with decent looking body, spare fenders in better shape, spare 2F, trans?, 8274 Warn... runs & stops... for $3300.

I'm sure we'll all get a better look when its for sale again in 3 weeks...

For $2000 more

Thanks fellas. I did see it. Even went out for a spin. Had plans to pick it up but had to sell another vehicle first and it turns out Christmas is the worst time to be doing that.

As I understand it the owner has another nice off-roader lined up and is probably chomping at the bit to get into it.
