Anybody got an idea where to get the discontinued firewall to heater duct (PN 87211-60031) for a 09/1973-07/1980 FJ40 LHD? Would seem to be a simple part to replicate, but even SOR doesn't have anything. Mine's pretty brittle, and at this point I'm going to wind up with more JB Weld than plastic.

NOS

- came from pacific north west old Toyota Dealership gone out of business , now building under renovation when Cosmetically Aged 27020-60040 was discovered under work bench by wall ,

Was Proudly Cosmetically ONLY Restored By @FJ60Cam NipponDenso SPA :)

this UniT was Bench Tested Perfect after 50 years of sitting Both Prior to and Post Cosmetic Restore
it was NOT disassembled , with exception to the Pulley for CAM to media blast and restore it

I have traced the part # back to 1965 , but don's have the print Media resources on hand to get further ?

Also as In all My traditional " KIT " Form approach Parts , includes All OEM Mounting Hardware

It was Important to Me to NOT Breach the case shells in half , this way the Internals
would retain there NOS status , all in Keeping with Traditional TOYOTA Way

The Canary Yellow Anodized YELLOW riveted emblem Remains Perfect in every way

I have been sitting on the 27700-31010 Regulator for while , but now she has a home :)

Part of a Bigger Picture and The Documented Journey of 50 Year old Land Cruiser NOS part

Let me know what you found. None of the aftermarket HJ47 radiators that I found were up to OEM quality standards.

Georg @orangefj45 at Valley Hybrids/Cruiser Brothers can get a Terrain Tamer OEM style HJ45/47 stock radiator. But since Toyota never had factory PS on these rigs I'm still looking at a modified radiator. Ron at Ron Davis radiator is interested in making one for me so he will have the pattern on file. His units are aluminum, Terrain Tamers are copper and brass. Neither are inexpensive, they are between $500.00 - $700.00 plus shipping.

Gentlemen,

I may be missing something, but all I see pictured above is a late model lighted choke cable, not a glow plug indicator.

I simply Reverse-Engineered the OEM Amber Back-Lit Knob choke cable

and Reproduced it ............
