So sadly Toyota got "PC". I see the gas pedal thing as a hoax to try and discredit Toyota. Can't keep a quality product down. Lawyers destroying our country more every day......................... Thanks for your input Dan. Interesting.

Cool Thanks for posting Johnny

Toyota went PC in a lot of ways

Pre2010 Risaburo and Kiichiro interpretation of core principle #5 used to read:

Always have respect for God and remember to be grateful at all times

A rework around 2012 changed it to:

Always have respect for spiritual matters, and remember to be grateful at all times.

I had just seen a new one recently that read something like:

Always be reverent and show gratitude for things great and small in thought and deed

Alrighty......as it does turn out I have NOS Bi Fold door Weatherstripping for the early 40's, If Roger is interested in reproducing it, it will head to him.

I have 2 part # (but 2 of one)

62744 60010 W/S Back window guide, requires 2 part W in diagram
68829 60010 W/S rear upper hatch, requires 4 part P in diagram

compared to the whats left of the original W/S left on my 65, it is the same.

Prototype of the vertical weatherstrip for the corrugated top (62744-60010):

Thanks for the bump on that old pic Roger. Yes, I have plenty of locktabs in stock. I also wholesale them to a few other vendors, in case you have a hard time coming up with a hundred bux worth of stuff for your truck to support me directly.

How about a late model 40 series center console and matching Bezel? NVM the Bezel, I see you've got those...

Up until the gas pedal debacle of 2010 it was often possible to get non-US parts shipped as long as they were physically in a warehouse on US soil. It was also possible to get non-US parts loaded into the system and place off-line orders for them.

After 2010 our litigious society caused Toyota to re-think it's exposure to ambulance chasers and all that cool stuff got shut off.
It is still possible to get non U.S. items for a legally imported truck. Toyota will ship them to you with copy of registration in your name. I have done that several times in the past. It just takes a phone call and a fax after they say no.
