We havent registered yet but we will be there with at least 4 trucks and some goodies for everyone. We will get off our butts and register before the end of the week so you can get your numbers figured out.

I'm gonna need to follow someone since I've never been before. I can be there early Thurs. since I've taken the long weekend off. I could be in the Gville area Wed. night if there's someone who's leaving early Thurs. morning, but I'll need a place to crash.

You are welcome to crash at my house. I should be leaving Thurs morning.

I'll get some directions posted up in case you don't get a lead in.

Don't forget you, Brian and Daniel are UC members now. So it's only $20/driver.

I finally registered! I will be there, with a passenger who is taking over my project at work. I can't wait!!!! :bounce2:

Directions from the Tennesse side (from Gov't site):
From I-75 in Sweetwater, Tennessee, take State Route 68 to Tellico Plains. Turn left onto Highway 165 for 6 miles. Turn right onto FDR 210 (Tellico River Road) for 10 miles, turn left onto 217 (North River Road). Camp is located 2 miles on the left.

Directions from Murphy, NC (from my maps):
Follow Trail 1 all the way past stateline camps and Green Cove area. About 1 mile past Green Cove Convenience Store is the access road to N. River Road. This entrance is easy to miss. Take a right turn there and go almost one mile, staying to the left at the next turn. Then go about one more mile to the campsite entrance. ** If you miss the first entrance at the one mile mark past Green Cove there is another entrance to the right at the 3 mile mark past Green Cove. It loops back down to the McNabb entrance after about 2 miles.

Click this link for a detailed map of the area.

I'm a little nervous. Figured y'all would understand since I'll be driving the wife's DD. Looking for a little advice. Please click here.

Replied in that thread too, you'll be fine. I had my old 100 on all the trails Marshall mentioned and it didn't skip a beat. As mentioned, having a good spotter is most important...

Couple video's and pics from years past.

Damn those were some fun times.

I will be in attendance at this one for sure! bringing the 62 to this one so I can test it out!

I'm planning on coming out but have a question, is there enough to keep a 5 1/2 yo boy busy Fri thru Sun morn? Last thing I want is the Devil incarnate getting irritated. Anyone else plan on bringing kids about that age?

EDIT: One more thing, what kind (if any) amenities are there at the camp ground (water, toilets, etc.)?

Thanks

There is a stream nearby. They have port-a-jons on site. They were nice last year.

We will have a large canopy like last year as well as a small generator to run lights, music and some fans. Everyone liked the fans.

There were quite a few children last year. Dan K always brings his kids and from what I can tell they have a great time. Lot's to do in Tellico.

I'm not sure Dan K is going to be there this year. The Avocado is not road worthy right now and probably won't be ready in time.

Isabelle will be there(4 going on 15)

Hopefully the shirt design will be up by the end of this week if not sooner. It has been a group effort and I think they will turn out nice. More details TBA. :bounce:
