I agree with you that drugs can/do affect people/families in a negative way so can anything that you take to unhealthy levels legal or not

work-a-holic
gym rat
office type emotional relationship
adultry
gambling
video game addicts
alcoholic
strip clubs
prostitution where legal
internet porn

people who do negative things that hurt their families will get their fix whether they are legal or not.

at least with the drugs being made legal and hopefully regulated you can take most of the crime out of it.

I know your with the BSOA so you probably see all sorts of kids from really awful back grounds. I understand where you are coming from. My wife was the school nurse for the poorest elementary school in our county. The stories that these kids have are so sad, you want to adopt everyone of them yet so many think that their backward lives are normal because they have never known anything different. She usually had at least 2 DSS calls a week.

On the other hand

I know of at least one christian missionary who lost his family over his pursuit for over seas missions. His wife was not cut out to handle her husband spending most of his time on the other side of the world and it cost them their marriage. While i think mission work is critical and important i don't think our services should ever put our marriage at risk but rather be something to make the marriage stronger and help to build bonds within the family. It's great to talk to africans about god but there are just as many people down your street that need the same speech.

So yes...there is a kid who doesn't see his dad because he got arrested for selling meth and is serving hard time.

But there is also the kid who doesn't know his dad because he's only home after 10pm and when he is around the house he's either on the phone with clients or on the computer working from home.

Which kid has it better?

I think there is middle ground to be met on. Not all drugs should be legal, not all people should be allowed to carry guns.

Put me down for 8 out of 10. I don't like work, and the gym, is for fags.

I say charity should always start at home.

Long live the Fifth of November!

everyone should carry a gun. It would solve lots of problems. World hunger, overpopulation, civil dissagreements!!

If those 5 albums were the only thing left on the planet I'd be okay with it. That being said I listen to a lot of Zeppelin. But all the albums it's impossible to pick one album that is better than the others.

I will say I've been listening to a lot of Merle Haggard in the 40. But it's on 8-track.

Now we are talking...... I just figured a cultured man like yourself would have a more well rounded music collection :hillbilly:

Now we are talking. Exactly why I started this. I forgot about that Jane's album in my collection. That also reminds me that I still haven't bought that awesome Foo Fighters album.

However I see you like Soundgarden post-Superunknown. Shame on you.:bang:
