yeah..i gotta keep my wife happy too...thats why i like to use the barter system

trade out work for stuff for my cruiser!!!

buy a knuckle rebuild for my cruiser whlie your at it and i'll install yours free of charge!! lol....but you gotta provide the beer!!!

and i got a free chevy 4speed tranny along with 350. It's a sm420 or 465 one....i need to find out which one.

If i don't go 700r4 in the future i'll drop that in the cruiser this winter so long as i find a cheap kit

i read somewhere that the movie chuck norris did with bruce lee was the only movie he ever did and lost the fight. Must have been before he was strong enough to when he does push up the earth moves instead of him and such.:lol:
 
And now for something completely different...

So I contacted the guy I bought my 40 off of back in '09. I had thought I lost his e-mail, but ended up finding it buried in some stuff that I was cleaning out. Any ways he had wanted to see it after I got done with it, so I sent him some pics that I took recently. He replied with this e-mail...

"Hey this is the only pic I could find of your cruiser. looks like I was about 2 so that would have had to been around 1976. Take care of the old girl. Im so glad shes getting a second life. Before you emailed me in 09, some guy was wanting to buy it just to herd his cattle in. LOL ,NO WAY I would have gone thru with that! If you ever decide you want to sell her , please give me first shot. Thanks again for the pics they look great.

On a side note just a bit of info. My mom who loved the pics, told me that dad gave just a little over $4000 new off the car lot in 75. wow! lol

That is Awesome Marshall....Drinkin a PBR at the moment as I watch the commercial.
 
vacation going very rough so far. 7hrs to get here. YES 7!! Lost 1hr at Wendys, traffic was backed up 50 miles outside of mb. so i had to take an exit and go down 76 to come in to the beach. Get here and the cargo carrier on top of the van scrubs the ceiling in the parking garage. Room is filthy. Furniture feels like sand. Room is small. We knew it was smaller than we were used to but wow this is small. And lets not even get into the "i am sick of being in this car with u so i am gonna fight with u about every little thing!!" Man i miss work.
 
have a few beers...steal some grass from a college kid....enjoy the views on the beach and enjoy yourself bro!
 
I haven't seen this many people at Myrtle Beach in over 5 years. It took me 1.5 hours to drive 20 miles from Conway to my Dad's house on the beach. Good luck fighting that traffic, I won't be going back this weekend. I am hiding out in the country and staying away from anything with water.
