Blower motor on my newly acquired 80 wasn't working too well. Can't imagine why...

Meanwhile the vette kart is coming along nicely.

How easy is it to get to the squirrel cage? I suspect mine has never been cleaned...

Anybody familiar with this??? Very encouraging that used parts are available! Can anybody order on this or do you have to be a body shop? Amazed at the condition of some of these vehicles, there is a good looking 62 in San Diego I would love to pick over!

I have used it before to look up parts what you will find though is most yards will not ship large parts unless you are a dealer.

Thought so! Have had a local shop tell me they would be happy to order anything I need!

I've used car-part before. Was dealing with a smaller part and linked to a junkyard in AL that had a website for ordering and shipping.

So I need advice on a new battery. After about 4 or 5 years of service to me the one on my t100 finally bit the bullet I believe. I thought it would need to be replaced not long after I first bought the truck but yet it's lasted. This is even after the truck sat for about 4 months last year without being started after my wreck and started right up as soon as I tried it and has been driving the last year issue free until now. So do you guys have any recommendations on batteries? I'm not trying to break the bank just something that'll last and the one that died was a duralast gold.

Costco's pricing on Interstate is very reasonable.

Well went out to get fresh look at the battery this morning since I had been looking at it at around 11 last night and could've missed something. Noticed that the positive terminal must've gotten broken in all my cleaning at some point. Swapped the terminal and started right up which should still buy me awhile. I do think this battery is on it's last leg so any recommendations would still be appreciated.

Well that's the cheapest solution for sure!
Batteries have gone up in price, just got one for the 60 a few months ago. I think it was $105? Could have spent less on a smaller amp but it was on sale and had a mail in rebate so I felt okay with it. Side note the battery for my car was 125 two years ago.
I buy everything I can at Ware's Napa in simpsonville. Family owned and they are good people.

Odyssey batteries are the new hotness these days for good, reliable, deep cycle. If you just want a good starter battery I wouldn't hesitate to use one in the right group rating for your truck. I have 2 in the GX and they are extremely good!

Interstate can't be beat. in line with wally world on their prices, also.

Our house is under contract and we had an offer accepted on a house in the Powderhorn subdivision in Simpsonville. Closing on the 28th. So, we are prettt excited.
Congrats man! When you're simultaneously buying and selling, it's such a freaking relief when you don't have to float 2 mortgages... I've had to do it 3 times and it always sucks. Seriously, congratulations!

Cool deal. I am in Powderhorn also.

Apparently have another leak and it looks like brake fluid. Drivers side rear. Any suggestions what it is leaking from??
I'm going to attempt to fix it myself as I'm to freaking poor to keep paying for fixes

Looks like the load sensing proportioning valve. Adjusts rear brake bias for heavy loads. Not too bad of a job. Bleeding the brakes will probably take longer than replacing the part.
