Christo- didn't you say yesterday that you would have pics with the new tires up "tomorrow"?? Well, it's "tomorrow" and I (I'm sure others too) want to see this thing. PICS!!!

Free beer here...tomorrow :flipoff2:

Well, today is nearly over, but we made it. Here it is

Looks good Christo. Loving that articulation. I'd be so proud I'd need a larger shirt size! Ever think about doing this stuff for a living? :D

WOW:eek: I just re-read your ROTM and to think this all started with some electronics a little custom light bar. Way to go dude! What was your Mileage at the time of the SAS?

man that looks great! congrats to the owner and Slee for creating it.

Wow is right. :p I am speechless.:D I think I want to be buried in my rig.
It seems like this has been a 8 year journey, 4 of wanting a land cruiser and 4 of actually owning one. My baby has come a long way, and I still have a few more things install for it. All of this (SAS project) was started with me wanting to go to Alaska for the Alaska Cruiser Trek, this summer. All I can say is that Christo you and your crew are incredible. I would not trust my rig with any but you.

Nicely played gents...Nicely played.

SWEET! First shots of a production black Slee front bumper mounted on a vehicle!!! Very nice.

pesimsmd: I want to extend my gratitude to you for taking the lead on such a large and expensive project with results unknown. Although Christo, Joe and crew set the bar with Blueberry this one is in a new league. Many more will reap the benefits of your pioneering effort. Not taking away anything from all the guys at Slee Offroad but without customers like you they wouldn't be able to build rigs like this one!

I think I speak for multitudes of 100 and to be 100 owners: Thank you for taking the lead!

P.S. I am more than a little envious!

x2 on what Spresso said. I also want to know how many more SAS's does Christo/Joe need to do before they streamline it enough for me to afford it!

I want to say 160K, but I have not seen or driven the rig since Sept.

Indeed, we thank Paul for allowing us to do this. Takes a lot of faith to drop a truck off, then with some rough guidelines tell us to "go ahead". The "BlueBerry" was done to figure out if it can be done. This one was done from the point of truly building a vehicle that is usable on a daily basis and I think we got it pretty close. There was some new elements to this one but I think we got pretty close to what we set out to achieve.

Now both Joe and me are jealous and have been looking at my LX470 and thinking when I am going to roll it into the shop :D

Thanks again for allowing us to do this. We still have a busy week ahead of us to get it all buttoned up and test it. See you next Monday.

Insane build! You guys rock.

If ABS works, then could you get ATRAC/VSC to work on a 2000 or newer?

Unfreakingbelievable work as usual be Slee and crew. The bar was just raised a bunch of notches! Paul, you're gonna be swarmed by jealous Cruiser owners wherever you go! Enjoy it.

That is an amazing build, and it looks a LOT better than blueberry did in my opinion. I agree that if it ever gets affordable for the average guy that it would take off like a wildfire.

Great job Slee.
