Soooo, which way are you heading back to Austin? Perhaps down I-25, through ABQ? :-)

not even close, Houston not Austin......I70 to I35 to I45. A very boring ride, but all interstate and much faster then passing through all of those small towns in CO,NM and TX.

How tall is that from the top of the roof as well as the top of the roof rack?

I wonder if it will fit in a standard garage?

That looks really good. I'm very jealous.

Actually the new snorkel retains the auto antenna, but we had to notch it to fit around the antenna.

Which snorkel in the picture of the Rhino and the LX is the new one? Who makes it, and is it available for sale through Sleeoffroad?

pesimsmd - Insane build. You need to update your sig line!

Solid Axle Truck has the new style snorkel.

I was wondering you you take a 80 series snorkel to make it work ..

I am planning on updating it, when I take possession on Monday. Will have 1200 miles to think about what to write. "Insane Build" is putting it mildly.

That's the same sort of question as asking how much it costs ;)

To Answer both questions, my 100 has not seen the inside of my garage for the last 3 years. As for getting into a parking garage, that depends on the garage and the total height of the rig. I doubt it will be seeing one of them anytime ever. And as for the cost, less just say I wont be buying a new car anytime soon.

The on the solid axle truck looks like the one on Slee's website, under which it has a caption that says:

"Part#:ARB1017 - $400.00
Fits 1998+ Land Cruiser
Requires removal of automatic antenna
Supplied in black"

I understood from Christo's comment earlier, that it was no longer necessary to remove the automatic antenna. What am I missing?

The snorkel on Slee's white LX is the new style snorkel. Notice how it doesn't extend down the front of the quarterpanel anymore. Apparently, the new one still requires removal of the antenna unless you modify the snorkel with a little dent to clear the antenna.

The white snork on the LX is the OLD style. The black snork on the solid axle truck is the NEW style. The new one does NOT require removal of the antenna, just pressing a small dent into it to clear the antenna bezel on the fender, just like the 80 series does.

Whoops, my bad. Other way around.

Lol. Yeah, my wife asked if it would fit in the garage after I told her I wanted to chop the front end off her land cruiser and replace it with a solid axle :P
