I don't know what I'm doing with brakes. 12 pack for anyone that would be willing to help bleed everything? If not I think I'm just going to take it to Scott Clark
I'm happy to help but can't do anything until Monday or later. It's not hard, just takes time, and sometimes you have to vary from the FSM's recommended bleed sequence. At least I have had to. Damn LSPV. And don't break it - it's not the same size and it's NLA. I guess I should remember to find who offers a replacement since mine was rounded off when I got it.

I appreciate it John. My LSPV was replaced last year so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad. Just let me know if one night/day next week works

Did some wire cleanup and installed my Foxwing awning finally but still wasnt able to set it up had 60 MPG wind gusts up here and didnt think that was a good idea.

Lets talk about commitment. Brand new crate 4L65E
1.remove tail section
2.install first part of adapter, 6 bolt to 4
3.measure and mark cut line
4.CUT OFF remaining section of output shaft

Spud shaft, bearing pressed on spud shaft, 2nd section of adapter installed, supplied spacer installed, silicone sealer fills the groves between the splines and helps prevent fluids of T-case and trans from mixing. I let it stand over night then cut off extra with Xacto knife.

I had a local shop replace calipers, rotors, and pads on all four. Also had them replace 3 piece axle to frame, and 4 piece axle to caliper with Slee braided lines. When I picked up the truck he said the pedal may feel soft until the pads seat in. I gave him two pints of the Superblue fluid @Rice suggested and they only used about half of a of one pint. It doesn't seem like they used enough to properly bleed but I wanted to get the thoughts of the internet before I look to have them rebled.
What kind of pads are they? The EBC Heavy Duty ones needed 100 miles of bedding (I read the instructions that came with them). Felt scary at first, but after that the brakes where unbelievably strong. The outer coating is the bedding coating that needs to be transferred to the rotors.

Together again

I think I spotted your problem there Mr. Stanley, you are missing an engine, and related giblets.

Yea, they have gotten significantly better over the last week.

Good! My brakes went form laughable, like when I stepped on brakes, the brake system would send a telegraph to Brussels, go through patent office translation, then return an old fashioned transatlantic call to my brakes suggesting they should start to slow down a little bit.

All of a sudden, I stepped on the brakes and it was a moment like "holly sheet, I think my engine mounts just broke off!, and my dentures fell off!". This past weekend, Ken (green Land Rover disco) drove my truck at Big Creek, and he came out saying how incredibly amazing the brakes felt. Makes a big difference!

There might still be some bleeding that could improve it, but it has gotten better and in panics stops its much better than with the stock pads

Found a crack in the top of the radiator. All the OEM replacements seem to have a metal top, anybody know by looking at this if it's aftermarket?

My OEM was plastic top. Looks like leaking from mold seam? For an emergency fast cheap replacement Radiator.com | Radiators for Sale and Service Shop delivers within a couple of hours. The one I got from them developed a leak too, but lasted "long enough".
OEMs are expensive, lower price ($327) was from RADIATOR & COMPONENTS for 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser, but they only sell it for pickup, no shipping from Richmond, VA

Update: Radiator Assembly - Toyota (16400-66081) with $48 shipping looks good

Pretty positive that even OEM radiators have a plastic upper tank.

@Izzyandsue how long did it take you to swap it out, want to work on another one? Im most likely going to park it till the new OEM one shows up. This whole not having a garage and having no daylight after works is really starting to suck.

Took me one evening, think started around 6pm and was done by 8:30.... I need to do it again as I have an annoying pinhole on top.
