So the bearing isn’t pressed onto the bearing hub at all?

Yes it is pressed on to the throw out hub. Yours looks normal, but I am not sure if it is on in the correct direction. There are threads in the 40 section which talk about which profile of the bearing should face the pressure plate.

You should use an appropriately sized socket or bearing driver when 'banging' it on so you are striking the race and not the rest of the bearing. If you just beat it on and it's tough to turn then it's trash now.

James has cheaped out one too many times to try and cut corners
James has piles of expensive parts sitting around that are a result of James buying cheap parts and cutting corners

Also - be sure to fill that cavity / void inside of the hub with grease. If not it may squeal and would be a bitch to get to once installed...don’t ask me how I know.

I am done messing with my AC. I am just going to have someone replace the compressor/clutch. Much easier than me trying to figure it out.

AC compressor of choice? I know most like Denso, but I’ve read some not great things about their compressors. UAC....anyone heard of them? About $100 cheaper than the Denso.

Edit: UAC gets pretty bad reviews after deeper research. $280 for Denso.....sounds good.

Remove the caliber retaining bolts remove caliper. Tie caliper up out of the way so you don't stretch a brake the brake line. Release your parking brake. Then pull it off.
if it doesn't want to come use the adjuster for your emergency brake and loosen emergency break up

is your parking brake on?

If not... and it is stuck on you can thread bolts into the holes to push the rotor off

My parking brake does not work so I figured that it would not be an issue. But I beat the rotor with a hammer and still doesn’t budge so I guess maybe that is the issue. I’ll try to adjust it

Most likely with how rusty your piston was i'd imagine you'd need to thread the bolts to help pop the rotor off

I don't remember the thread for the 80s but I want to say M8-1.25

Well I just picked up my brake parts from NAPA. Turns out I only got half a caliper.

That is the rear caliper... you have to order the one with the mounting bracket if you want that also

EDIT: Just add an A onto the part number for NAPA... looking at their website its a few dollars more
