Not necessarily any wrenching yet. I have been looking for a few parts missing for my first gen build. I got a call from a guy near Charlotte that had the pieces I have been looking for. I drove down there today and one thing lead to another. Next thing I know I am a new owner of a very nice and complete 82along with a whole bunch of extra parts. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.

Such a sweet score Del; my favorite year mini.

Noticed my inverter under my console quit working.

Install quality wire. Not cheap Chinese crap. It's not real copper.

I've preached it for over a decade. Time to take me own advice.

That is all. Please carry on.
Copper with dumplings

Any easy way to tell a pan arch vs rear main apart? It seems to be leaking quite a bit. I through a bottle of seal conditioner in there in hopes of slowing it down

Yeah I was just going to pick up some interior parts. After I got to talking to him I ended up buying everything he had. All for the original price we settled on for the few interior pieces. Needles to say. I was stoked.

What?? No way. I love the first gen trucks!

I am so jealous right now :)

I am looking for a good deal on a truck with the ext cab. I found an 87 Ext Cab 4WD last week for $600, but i had other car deals going down and timing wasn't there. :(

Looking to do a body off, ground up project - - light lift, but something that could still all parts of Uwharrie, etc.

I took mine to Toyota Techs for diagnosis. It is not easy to see it where it comes from. Mine was the chain cover gasket, but looks like your pic.

I think that's where it's headed. BTW thanks for the find on the seat covers. Well worth $25

could be the valve cover gasket leaking and running down the back of the engine. how does it look from the top/side?

Top side looks ok, i replaced the valve cover recently so I don't think that's it. Inside of the inspection window doesn't show slaptter so I'm think pan arch

Nice! Drove about 400 miles this weekend on them and holding great. By the way, i created my own holes for the headrest, to make the backs a little sharper

Washing Machine repair day. The agitator stopped working. 10 minute fix with 'the most commonly sold item at the parts store'. $4.46. Don't tell Sarah that I wasn't slaving over it for hours. Saved $95 over a house call and can hold off on new machines a little longer now.

Hehehehe. I didn't HAVE to buy a 10" extension for a 1/2" ratchet......but I did, and it helped.
