You will still need a fuse up near the battery for your 1 AWG. Given you are only going 10 feet do you have to go 1 AWG? You may be able to go smaller? You may already have it on hand.

Just read thru your thread. I went with the Blue Sea 7610, I also already have the BlueSea MEGA fuse holder and fuses. I'm going to have a 150 between each battery and the ACR, and a 125 for the 0AWG going to the back of the truck. I have a wired wagon fused relay panel for all the exterior lights, and I plan to run a small blue sea fuse panel for the interior lights. I might just hook it up with what I got, and start simplifying over time.
 
Steering box was leaking badly, reservoir always puked when off-camber. Enter PSC Remote Reservoir setup:

Resealed J8X steering box with 105 sector shaft and pitman arm, ported it while in there so I can add hydro assist down the line without opening the box up again:

Please look at the diagram above. I finally found the idler pulley, idle pulley bracket to complete my power steering. Quick question how do I figure out what size bolt I need?

The picture only shows the two bolts on the right attaching the bracket to the power steering pump bracket. On the left of that bracket there is a hole to attach it to my engine block.

What is the best technique to figure out the size and length of the bolt?

Any suggest would be greatly appreciated

Dang purdy. That vise makes the steering box look small!!
 
Got a few things done last night on the new 4Runner:

  • changed oil - pretty dirty old stuff :( knew that.
  • did a full inspection underneath. surprisingly clean. right CV axle is spurting a bit, but we knew that. left is in good shape. didn't find any leaks, which is great news. valve covers seem to be leaking a bit - need to figure that out.
  • swapped out tires/wheels to @Rice 's old wheels - they look so nice
  • ran the sprinkler underneath the truck to get rid of some red clay dirt - have the belly plates soaking
  • purchased a new battery tie down and bolt - $24 at FAT - old owner had a bungee cord in there :\
  • engine and transmission seem very strong

Who would of thought that the hardest part of the whole DIY4x4 labs rear bumper build are installing the shocks. These things were a pain in the butt to install. Took a lot longer than expected but it was totally worth it because I hated dealing with the swingouts on uneven terrain.

Trans cooler lines. Note break at bell housing, allows motor or trans to be pulled independent without cooler lines being a problem. Two brackets keep lines in place

Noticed my inverter under my console quit working.

Install quality wire. Not cheap Chinese crap. It's not real copper.
