There are 3 t3 housings, .63, .82 and 1.06 and 2 t4 housings, .58 and .68.

From your sig,
twin turbo 1fz.....

ok, we need pics and details!!!

I checked the ATP site and they only have a single T4 for the GT35R and it has an AR of .82, so that is what I have as well.

Turbolx do you have a site where the .58 and .68 is shown? The T3s don't matter as they won't bolt up to my manifold.

Precision turbo makes the .58 and .68 turbine housings for the gt35r. I will post some pictures of my twin turbo set up later on.

Here is a far picture of the unfinished set up. It is missing the air filter and parts of the fuel system. Will post closer pictures of the system later. The other turbo is below and behind of the one you see here.

Yea that's awesome. Glad to hear the stock setup handles the boost fine. Is there anyway to log knock or timing advance/retard?

I have a .63 GT35R on my Mirage. I'm kinda excited to piece something together on the truck.

You can do that with a scanner

not yet. I just got a call from the foundry that the next set of castings are ready. In two weeks I hope to have a meeting with a guy who regularly machines castings. He should know what he needs to do the job. With any luck these two will be the first two of the final product.

This is just taking some serious time to get to where I'm comfortable to putting on on my own truck.

only if you want a manifold that hasn't been machined. Last shop delivered an unusable piece and quoted me more than a 1000.00 per unit to do more of the same. I'm hoping this guy I'm talking to knows what he is doing.

That's better than the $3,000.00 the local hotrod shop quoted me to make custom headers and exhaust. I am still in on this setup and please put me on the list for the first available.

Thanks,

Since people have been asking me about this I thought I'd update those interested.

I actually found a machine shop that was well versed in machining castings and more importantly automotive castings.

I got a cost today for machining the two castings I have which includes making the fixtures and it is really a good price. I was hoping to be able to hit a 650.00 price point and that seems possible.

I'm supposed to have the finished castings in two weeks, which equalls a month is manifold time.

When I get them back I'll update it here.

Amazing work landtank. It's good to see someone so dedicated to a project and see it through to completion.

Thanks, you won't believe this but just after starting the milling process on the latest casting his CNC machine went on the fritz. Last I talked to him the head unit was heading back to the manufacturer for a second time as they weren't able to locate the problem.

So completion still seems to be eluding me.

Wow, that is just terrible. Are they going to cover the cost since it was their CNC machine that ruined the cast?

castings are fine. Mine are being done as fill work to help control my costs. My casting were between operations and it was someone elses work that experienced the failure.

Just more delays in a long list of delays to getting to a production piece.

Ah, gotcha. That's good to hear. Looking forward to your progress on this project. It's a huge undertaking.

finally done !!!

Well I had to check and the first post was on 04/21/07 at 6:43pm and now it's been officially completed.

I got a call from the machinist yesterday and have picked up the two manifolds that he was working on.

All I can say is that he did a perfect job. Everything lines up according to my drawings and everything fits.

Right now I have a 97 CE with a bad engine in it that will receive one of these manifolds. I should have the replacement engine in about a month and then the turbo build will commence and should be completed by spring.

Here are a few shots of the final piece

I was just wondering about this the other day. Looks like your patience and persistence paid off, congrats on getting it done! Looks great and really beefy!
