As the title says thinking about having some j-pipes built to sell. My father in law has been welding for 40 years and is retired. He saw my j-pipe today and asked who welded that. He wants a project and said he can make that all day long just get me the flanges, bends and stainless pipe and he can whip some up. Have a couple engines laying around to mock up and he can make a jig. These would be for internally waste gated turbos like the pulsar. May go with other options if the interest is there. Thinking 316L or 321 sch40 stainless pipe and fittings. Not sure what pricing would be I’m guessing 250-500. Anybody interested in these?

I'm interested.

For any one interested in a full kit that is 99% bolt on these will be available extremely soon and we will be making the J Pipes and Downpipes available for those that want to use a different turbo or go a different route. Jigs are built, product has been manufactured, boxing is in process. Early January these will be live. Went from 146 hp and 191 ft lbs to 210/290 😎 80 Series Turbo

Hey vendor why are you plugging your product on someone else's tread? Why don't you plug your product on the vendor section or on your own thread with all of your information and pricing oh and Merry Christmas everyone.

Hey @tmxmotorsports Merry Christmas to you also! As a paid vendor on mud we are allowed to plug our products where we see fit and I saw it fitting to plug it here because just a few weeks ago I talked to Wes on the phone about a motor a client was purchasing from him specifically for the reason of turboing with our kit. We talked about our kit, how the piping lays out, what was going to be offered all while he was on our website scoping out what we were doing and how we were doing it.

Cool just seems tacky to do so also no mention from @Fj80oregon that was what was or is going on carry on.

It’s because WitsEnd turbo was a complete nightmare.

Not only did he not deliver said product, but stole thousands of dollars from customers by never delivering.

Not to mention he never came through with making it smog legal like he said in the beginning.

To boot, he went radio silent on his many customers who paid, waiting on these promises that he never delivered for.

You create a market void, it’s only obvious that another vendor stepped in to deliver.

Just seems tasteless to push your products in another person's thread, especially one that aims to produce a similar component

I know all about it and called that out a very long time ago so no need to bring that into this thread I understand how it all works trying to get a piece of landcruiser pie and I have no problem with it I said what I said without knowing that they are working together thought @Cruisers and Co were just plugging there kit on a guy just doing his own thing with his father in law.

merry x-mas boys no beef on my part it’s all good! The more options the better in my opinion. My intention has nothing to do with Johny’s product, was just coincidence my father in law saw a HD automotive j pipe. Cruisers kit looks to be legit and will be a solid kit. I was just thinking cheep DIY and can build to suit.

Wes and Johnny know each other…

There’s no drama here, but understand there’s probably a bit of emotion given the topic.

How about we all agree to turbo all the things!
