Ive looked at this several times and have thought about picking it up how well do the drawers stay shut while in the back of the vehicle the last thing I want is to have them fly open and sockets fly around.
they may slide out a half inch but nothing is coming out. It's a snug fit between the 3rd row seat and and tailgate.

This looks kinda neat:

Ahem. You can do better. :D

Anyone in CLT have a drill press I can use for a few minutes? I have to countersink a hole on an angled piece of wood and am not able to use my drill for it.

Pretty neat little video for a new locking nut. Probably overkill for our purposes, but I'm sure industrial engineers are foaming at the mouth about it.

Nords are not new, been around a while. They run $0.50 to 0.80 per pair for smaller sizes.

I've come across them a couple times. I think the overall expense is why you rarely see them outside industry.

Finally got the lathe off trailer...nice that I can back the trailer into the garage b/w the lift. Pics of the unloading.

Is the lathe missing it's adjustable height feet or are they under teh cabinet?

Beautiful machine. Where's the 40?

BLAST CABINETS

I am starting to look at blast cabinets. Anyone with experience please chime in. I have looks at several so far and still looking. If you know of other brands, again, please chime in. I am looking at this model, I have always had good luck with Grizzly tools. I am hoping it will be relatively easy to move the vac to the side so it fits closer to a wall.

No adjustable feet at the moment. I'll source some after tearing down and rebuilding...just holding its spot in the garage now.

40 is just pushed to the other side of the shop.

Skat gets great reviews and is made in the USA - Pro Shop (34"-92"W) Sandblasting Cabinets for Abrasive Blasting Cabinets - TP Tools & Equipment

They also have a 'build it yourself' kit for the budget minded.

Not that I've ever seen you post anything positive or negative about Harbor Freight... But I can say that I was disappointed with the quality of their blast cabinet. First time used the gloves were ruined and we weren't even doing anything crazy.

Yup. Dont go there for that one. POS

Need to revive this thread a little.

I'm thinking about getting an electric impact wrench soon. I like both DeWalt and Milwaukee, anybody have any preference?

I'll put it to a vote. What do you guys think?

Are you saying a plug in or battery powered? I think both are a good option I have several battery powered dewalt tools but also know a dewalt vendor rep from my time working at Valspar so I get a hook up on batteries.
