Hello - my 79 has a DUI distributor conversion .
The factory coil and igniter are still installed but all the connections except one are disconnected.
The connector comes out of the igniter - goes to the negative coil screw terminal and then plugs into a green connector on a yellow wire in the harness.
I am thrown off because the wire goes from black to yellow - I can’t find the exact wire in the 79 wiring diagram but I am 95% sure it goes to the emissions computer.
I wanted to see if I can just ground this to the chassis or leave it disconnected.
