Well not as productive as I hoped. Up early this morning and did some finishing on bumper. Added flange for spare tire. Buffed up some welds and generally just cleaned it up some.

Couple things remain.
Install latches
Install stops to prevent over opening.
Install trailer chain loops.
Prime
Paint

After working for a bit this morning I went to town and grabbed more material for a bunch of projects. Endura paint for interior and bumpers
Tubing for rain gutters
Tail lights
Rivets
Consumables

I sealed the other hard top side

Then moved to sliders

These are only tacked into place until I see how they line up with fenders and flares.

Got a s*** ton done. Hoping to get drip rails done tomorrow and maybe mounted to roof. Found out the roof needs some fibre glass repair too. Bummer.

Not an exact match but close. Looks much much better anyhow!

Fantastic progress!!

Isn't it amazing what a difference a coat of paint makes? From beat up junk to clean and pristine. My favorite is when all the bits are bolted back in and it looks like new. Can't wait to see this thing. Never seen a troopy in person.

Well I've still been tinkering

I like the flares! the make the box look more aggressive. Yes, you should paint the bezel.

Re wiper park position... a quick search didn't find as much as I expected.

This thread seems to deal more with random park position: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/window-wiper-park-position.50987/

Another one: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/how-to-adjust-wiper-position.197719/

If they are stopping in a consistent position, can you remove the gear that drives the mechanism from the motor while the motor is in the park position and then move the wipers to the proper park position and reassemble? Don't simply remove and reinstall the arm(s), or you may be wiping your hood and scratching the fresh paint.

You have to clock the starting point on the wiper motor. That's how I broke mine as well. Too late, but the best way is to pay attention on disassembly

Got that sorted.
