Anyone have a quick way to change the circle seal and gasket without having to drop transmission?
Tricks of changing seal between trans/transfer case

The FSM steps you through taking the transfer case apart. No need to pull the transmission. I did have to put a jack under the crossmember and lower it down a bit so the rear case of the transfer would clear to pull off. There’s an o-ring that should be replaced when you replace the seal as well...and idler shaft o-rings, output shaft nuts, output shaft seals...sorry, just thinking out loud.

You're image includes the gasket in front of the split case. You will have to remove the idler shaft and output shaft and take the gears off the transmission output shaft before removing the front of the split case.
No quick way. but mwebfj60 is right. You can do it on the vehicle. I'd put it on a lift, Then put a transmission jack under the transmission to support it before removing the crossmember. remove the rear drive shaft, remove the nut from the rear output shaft, remove the companion flange, Remove the rear output bearing retainer, unbolt the split case and remove the back half, remove the rear output shaft and shift fork, Remove the 32mm nut from the transmission output shaft, pull the bearing off the transmission output shaft and remove the pto gear and output gear and possibly the seal, take off the idler gear and idler shaft this can be done together but the output shaft comes off first and gears off the trans output shaft first b/c there is a oil slinger under the idler gear that will get hung up on the trans output gear. unbolt the front case from the trans, pull the front 1/2 of the t-case. Replace the gasket. Make sure to put sealant on the long bolts that hold the t-case to the transmission before re-installing. As said follow the FSM for steps and torque specs, torque order, pre-load etc.

it can be done from under. not FUN, but not hard, and I've done much, much worser...don't let the gear stack fall out of the case when you open it up. you should arm your self with at least a full tcase gasket and shim kit, if not the full rebuild kit. check out the tcase rebuild threads for pics and tricks. the part you are talking about is not tricky to change, just long winded to get to. be sure to do your homework as there are a few bolts that should get sealer, and other tid bits I can't recall in my morning fog...

Depending on how filthy the transfer case and underside of the body is, it's a good idea to clean up the case and especially the top of the case (that you can get to) before disassembling it.
Any dirt on the case will fall down into the transfer gears & bearings making a mess of things—

pretty easy to deal with .. that's the wonder of the " split case " much more if your cruiser it's lifted ..
Hey, I have the issue where the fluid is migrating from the transfer case to the transmission. Please tell me if this summary is wrong. !- there is only one seal at play. 2- the seal is in the transfer case. 3- If I want to do it without pulling the transmission I am going to split the transfer case on the car. 4- The likely required components will be minimum 1 seal and 1 gasket? TIA
