Transmission cooler upgrade recommendation

I was able to get things looking pretty good with a little time, a screw driver and a can of coil cleaner. Lots of old crap came out. I’ll be testing it tomorrow and collect data with an OBDII reader.

Does the OBDII read transmission temps? My transmission temp light goes on and stays on when I drive now even when cold. I am sure it's just a sensor but I don't think I saw temp readings available on the reader.

My scangauge2 doesn't measure tranny temp so I dont t think the ECU does either.

That's what I thought. I have seen some people add a bung or another way to put a sensor on there to check temps. In my case, I am sure it's just the sensor (they aren't cheap...about 80-90$) I will try taking mine off and cleaning the contacts and sensor.

I installed a sensor. I have never seen 190c with this kit that was installed going over mountain passed on 2nd gear and RPM 4500
