Why are some of your UCA have t this brake line mounting bracket? The one I received today didn't have it.

J

You know I already ordered. LOL

Jason, is a stronger than oem gas tank skid plate still something you might entertain in the future for 100s?

I'm looking at one to build for my 98. But thinking that only covers to 2002, not sure. The newer models its part of the tank itself.

Hey Jason,

at one point you were carrying Hood / Hatch struts - is this something you still carry?

Got my UCA'S this morning and having them installed tomorrow!!! They came a day earlier than the tracking originally said! Thanks for the quick turnaround Jason!!! I'll be back on the road tomorrow!!!

Edit: installed!!!

@TRAIL TAILOR Jason do you have any ideal alignment specs using your UCA's? Just wondering given my mechanic just sort of winged it. It rides okay, but feels like it's got some loose high steer movement. I'm running your lift kit, with the dual rate springs. Would love to dial it in better once I put my new wheels and tires on next month. Any info would be great!

I've seen quite a large alignment range (3.5 to .8) just depends on the shop and how high you are cranked. Most are in the 20.5-21.5" range and getting around 2.0 a majority of the time.

Take it to an alignment shop that knows what they are doing. I've found and heard most are far from reputable and experience is lacking.

Sounds like your mechanic installed and turned some bolts and eye balled it... Not a good idea to run it for long and honestly I wouldn't.

Usually these guys are pretty good and are known around here as the go-to guys for off-road. I caught them at the end of the day on a Friday and sort of feel like they got it so it worked, and sent me out the door so they could go home. Definitely not their usual service. I'll give them a chance to correct it, before I throw in the towel on them. I'll double check my measurements and try to see where it lands. Thanks Jason for the quick response!

Why are the supports connecting the round outer tube with the rectangular inner tube, plates and not tubing? Seems like a great place to snag... round tubing there would be the ticket.

So is your goal here to rip on someone’s livelihood? If you have a question on this it would seem that a private message or email would be more appropriate than the thread where he posts his hard work and support of our niche community.
