nice buildup that cage looks great

That's a great looking cage. I like the lines and the persuasive ways to get it to line up.

The Floor is done. Had to notch out the tunnel to fit the seats. The white stuff is seam sealer. I used it to cover up the ugly welds our big as mig welder made on thin sheet metal

I have a wedding tomorrow, so I would be working on it again until Sunday. Updates to come then.

I have been kicking butt on the front end yesterday and today. Here is what I have done so far:

What I really like about FJ40's are their Fender Approns. So I wanted to build some skins that gave the FJ the FJ40 look. I am not ready to make the skins just yet, but here is what I am probably going to end up doing with the front end.

Looks like the tie rod mount is only tacked. Have you tested for frame clearance when you stuff the driverside and try to turn?

Here is what she looks like since the last update! It now drives, steerings and is probably about 1 more weekend of time from being 100% complete.

I did not like my front fender panels and could not put my finger on it. I finally figured it out last night and marked the fender for a new cut with some tape. It is also at it's final ride height.
