It’s a mixed bag i guess! Because of all of the products and ingenuity he has brought into the LandCruiser network, the knowledge/know how he has shared and his long standing belief in Toyota and the Land Cruiser I personally have a difficult time dogging him. My 2 LandCruisers are better because of him!
Now, do I wish he ran his business better and kept up with orders and responded to customers better, well yes I do. Matt gets in my head but I’ve never been in his shoes!
I would be quite uncomfortable if a business received my money and never delivered and went silent. It would suck. I think Matt knows he has a responsibility to his customers. I think he knows he owes a lot to the MUD members who helped build his enterprise. He knows that his customers, especially here on Mud will keep him honest.
I can’t tell him how to run his business, I can’t R&D Land Cruiser parts, and I can’t move to Maryland and help him out. So I just give him space and he always comes through.

Owning and operating your own business does get a bit overwhelming at times. There are unfortunately, lots of things that demand attention aside from normal day to day operations. That absolutely doesn’t excuse bad customer service but it does happen to most of us. He needs to do a better job. He is in a unique position with the Landcruiser community and owes this community better service to match his high quality and much needed parts offering. A lucid humble apology and clear communication with his customers would go a long way toward righting the ship. We are seeing far too many folks in this community feeling slighted by him. Customer service always takes care of itself one way or another. I have bought from him, had a good experience and will continue to do so. So I hope he works all this out.

Holy brain fart, Batman! I am indeed wrong. The TT pic is CruiserMatt, not ToyotaMatt as I wrote. I have met both and do know how to tell them apart, so I accept full responsibility for my error and will commence with the self-flagellation shortly.

Apologies for any confusion I've caused.
 
Has anyone seen @ToyotaMatt ? Haven’t heard from him in a while. I ordered some stuff from him 10 days or so ago and haven’t heard anything. I even texted him on his personal cell. Just hoping he’s ok.
One man show, I’m certain he’ll get you squared away man. But he might be dealing with something.
I'm having the same issue ordered something back in August and still nothing hope everything is OK
I understand people get sick, emergencies happen, you are kidnapped by aliens and "probed" - that can buy you a week maybe even two but really you need to respond to questions about orders that you already took the money, at least say you are working on it - instead of leaving folks to think you are on the beach somewhere with all your Gropen Joe Bribum funds, but that's just me.

i tried to reply to each fellow member whom posted in this thread , if i missed someone , please excuse me ....



- i had to deal with a family issue , Erin father whom was in hospice for 2 weeks prior , passed the saturday before last of cancer .....


- i did pause the store for chunks of time , but the orders , Your orders .....did back log ....

- i pulled a 24 hour shift last night into today , and USPS manually intake scanned over 50+ orders , i have been addressing and replying to the more then a full page of MUD PM's

- i will continue to do so , and get to each one from oldest to the most recent , ....


- PLEASE don't hesitate to use the MUD PM system here , i will continue to check it this afternoon and evening and tomorrow and the day after till i am current on ALL outstanding orders ....


- Life happened here , but i will do My Best to make short work of your parts orders , i know how important they are to you , as i carefully wrap each one on it way to you ....


- again , MUD PM any question you have , i will reply in the most timely manner possible

I've tried to get in contact with you several times via PM, email, and your website with no responses; but you shipped my latest order that I placed on your website. I left an order note asking you to ship the radiator drain tube that you promised to warranty (if you remember, the original had malformed threads and was missing the "2 F" and "F J" stamps) but did not receive that in the box. The last time we spoke of this was in March and now I really need the part, as I have to get the truck done by the end of the month (the owner is moving out of state early next month). Would you please respond to my PMs so we can figure this out?

I can't believe how similar your new pup looks to ours... What breed? Ours is half German Shephard and half Border Collie

she is a border collie mix of some yet to be determined breed ,

when time permits i am doing the whole DNA swab thing , because that is how i confirmed my late boy JACK , was indeed black lab and border collie mix at almost even levels ,

that's intriguing as all get out to me too

thanks for sharing your wonderful and special photo with me , this matters , and you need to know ,, it matters alot to me on a thanksgiving weekend
