He is no longer a member here. Best advice is to do a chargeback on your form of payment and get your money back.

In the meantime, you can go to the Clubhouse part of IH8MUD for your area….and maybe find someone semi-local that can assist…or post a thread in the classifieds for ‘WANTED’ etc.

Also, did your username come form Wilco and Lucero? Just a guess.

Thank you very much for the info and yeah it’s been an ordeal. I’m going to give up and just try and get money refunded and move on. Had a nice guy contact me here and said he may have what I need so I’m stoked on that. As for the name I have been tattooing Lucero since like 99 or so and it’s a combination of my last name and them. Gamertag I made a long long time ago and it just is used by me on the interweb.

Careful with dealing with someone you might not know. Lots of trustworthy people here, but recent scams as well. Check the classifieds for feedback etc. and message them directly, not via email. Good luck!

I want to reiterate what @sleepycruiser says: be careful! If they messaged you through the pm’s on mud, look at their profile and post history. Don’t pay for anything until it is in your hands or verified. A lot of people are getting scammed by people contacting them, saying they have what they need and disappearing after payment. A lot of them are not users here, but contact direct through email claiming to be a user. Or contact through here with a very similar user name as someone else then move everything to phone or email.
