.....he sent me like 10m8snow tech bolts and a grommet....
Dude he did this many times on my How to LS swap thread.... and then took one of my simple cheap <$10 ideas then copied it to sell at like $60 or $80 or so and it looked much worse than what i was giving out for free haha. He also tried to copy my cruise control solution to sell but could never get it figured out. Again, stuff i was giving out at the benefit of the community for free. Lastly he used to sell a combo switch for the 60 series.... for over $100 that you could get on rockauto for like $20. He got called out on it and removed it from the site. I think cruisercorps still does this:feel like he would shark onto my build thread occasionally to try and sell me some snow tech bologna. I feel like he ment well but something fishy was for sure going on. seemed like a pyramid scheme or something.
It really drove me nuts. Especially the different color and size fonts. kinda like some of my middle school students and how they type up stuff and turn it in. I just hope he is getting help if he needed it.Dude he did this many times on my How to LS swap thread.... and then took one of my simple cheap <$10 ideas then copied it to sell at like $60 or $80 or so and it looked much worse than what i was giving out for free haha. Other vendors will suggest they have solutions to probelems on forums with their products... which is SUPER helpul. Like cruisermatt, kurt, or georg offer it as a helpful thing. Matt would spam a wall of text and weird photos and long paragraphs of unrelated stuff, distracting from the thread. Im glad im not the only one who noticed that
You got bolts? Trade you for the single valve stem I got with my lockshe sent me like 10 m8 bolts and a grommet and said they were for testingand all I wanted him to ship was a set of door locks.
hahaha thats funny. One time I got a phone charger too.... I still got the bolts. I waiting on somthing to use them on I guess. You got bolts? Trade you for the single valve stem I got with my locks.
I feel like Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin “I got a rock.”

This has generally been my experience with Matt as well. Appreciate you posting this.Hey guys, just wanted to post this here. Despite everyone’s stories and insistence to not do business with Toyota Matt, I have just in the last month had an entirely different experience than most of you.
I contacted Matt on Instagram on July 20th of 2025 about a fusible link for my 1996 80. I received my fusible link package and a backup, over-nighted to me, on August 4th.
Matt communicated with me throughout the process on Instagram and I have all documentation to show this as well. I found him to be knowledgeable and friendly and will continue to do business with him.
I even mentioned to him, unsolicited, that I would be advocating on his behalf on the forum, in hopes of changing the optics on this situation.
While I realize that many people feel they have been scammed or simply just ghosted, I found that he potentially is just a small one-man show and that he has just gotten behind, with the intention of trying to make it all right. He told me that very certainly in one of our messages.
Please try to continue to communicate with him, in hopes of having a better experience in the future. He seems like a decent human and, as far as my experience goes, it was better than I have had with some of these bigger shops that are praised religiously on this forum…

Love thisHe's working hard at the business. Being away from MUD seems to have been good for focus.
Thank you for your insight.I have met Matt on several occasions as he is local and goes to the local TLCC club meetings on occasion and has frequented a few wheeling events on the east coast. He does know "his stuff" when it comes to Toyota parts. He also has a issue with some form of how he thinks and process the world around him.
I am not a psychologist but he has it and he tries to work with what he has been dealt and like every other person he slips and falls now and again.
I have a thick skin when it comes to people with issues because their "isim" is not "them"
In my opinion he would be a perfect "behind the scenes" guy for his endeavor with a good front man handling phones and emails.
There has been other speculation in this section regarding disability and “isms.” Whether framed as justification or as context for empathy, it is still inappropriate. Speculating about someone’s health, mental state, or condition, all private matters, is out of line—period. Unless a person chooses to share that information themselves, it is not yours to comment on, allude to, or speculate about.I have met Matt on several occasions as he is local and goes to the local TLCC club meetings on occasion and has frequented a few wheeling events on the east coast. He will readily tell youThere has been other speculation in this section regarding disability and “isms.” Whether framed as justification or as context for empathy, it is still inappropriate. It doesn’t matter if you’ve met him in person. It doesn’t matter if you’re a medical professional. That information is not yours to share. Matt does not need anyone here offering guesses about what he may or may not be dealing with. He is not here to defend himself, and this amounts to nothing less than medical doxxing.
It’s out of line. It’s inappropriate, and unless Matt has asked you to share this on his behalf, these inferences and comments need to stop.
Exactly. “He” is the subject, not “you.”He will readily tell you.
