We are confirmed for another event, the date is August 25!

The trail team guys are very experienced wheelers, have received lots of training and they have agreed to share their skills with us. This event will be about wheeling 101, 201, etc, will include, spotting, line selection, recovery demos, etc. Looking at doing the skills part in the morning, grilling dogs for lunch, then hitting the trail for the afternoon.

This date will be hot in the desert, so will be held in the pines, probably in the Payson area.

Due to a previous event getting overrun and the educational theme, we will need to limit attendance. At this time it’s only open to members. If you want to go post up, if you sign up and then find that you cant go, please post so we can keep a tab on how many are going to attend.

More details will be hammered out at the Sonic meet.

Wow. You can count me as a confirmed possible, and knock me if you'd like to cull the list to make the event manageable. I don't have any idea what that weekend looks like yet, I just wanted to keep open the possibility of partaking in Blues Dawg's canine delights.

Having not yet met you, I had wondered if the name had anything to do with a physical characteristic. Now that it's apparent that it does, I need not wonder any longer.

The fact that you can find humor in your fake leg is also refreshing. You should fit in perfectly with this rag tag bunch.

This "group" as it were, is just as much yours as it is ours. Bring what you need to sustain life for yourself and your passengers while you're out there. Anything else is a bonus for the other attendees. Once we nail down all of the particulars we may throw up a list of things that might be needed that we can't scrounge up. One thing that I can think of right off the bat is the fact that there will most likely be fire restictions in full effect at the time of this event and we may need to get a propane grill or two from the group. Will post more as we get closer.

So is anyone planning on camping up there the night before? I thought I take my son up to the Cards practice and them camp out with him the night before.
