That hippy hair for sure must be Matt, 3B transplant many years ago. Him and his wife drop by the metal shop once and awhile.
He thinks it was a euro imported truck for a few reasons, the front doors have the little vent windows which were sold in other countries. Also mentioned If I remember the story right he found it not running and something happened to it, I think it was submersed in a river and that is why he swapped out the gasser out.

Toyota's parts department really annoys me... If I ever need any parts I'll need to find Vin numbers for all sorts of different vehicles. In '74 Canadian 40s didn't have disc brakes, kick out windows, FF axles... etc. :D
 
They don't even ask for a vin before 1990 anymore when I've gone in.

Seems like it was policy for a while, maybe it still is but staff figured out it didn't work.
