Thank you for being our trail leader. It was an awesome trip and you made it better. You worked your ass off and we appreciate that.

Wow, great week. Did get to meet Woy & Jonheld, two really nice guys who threw down & traveled cross country to attend, thank you. Hope we lived up to the expectations. Didnt get to wheel with them or properly check out the rigs, next time. Thanks again guys, always smilin and can't wait to get back to TN and come see your side of the country.

Thanks for all of your help pre-event and it was a pleasure to finally meet you.
You and John were great, wheel with you guys anytime anywhere, John’s jokes and your responses really lightened things up, really glad you both came, we know it’s a long trip and greatly appreciate both of you..

We just got back to San Diego. Thanks again Ray for leading us through the trail and making sure we all made it, you sure earned the “no man gets left behind” merit badge this trip. It was great meeting everyone, we hope we see you all again next year!

Jake, you the Clairmonster, Delmartian guy ? Pleasure spending some time with your family. Hope Max had fun gold panning, it was funny at dinner when he was headed straight for the mud puddle.

Yep! Max got a good bath when we got home last night. Hope your cousin got a kick out of the "Clairmonster" title. Hope to see you again next year!

Other than the dust, it was a good time. Truck never really struggled with anything. Hats off to the organizers, trail leaders, and everyone else involved. Luckily, I found some Meguire's leather wipes at Walmart in Salt Lake. That was a close one. Gotta keep the Lexus pretty.

My Rubithon 2025 scorecard:

17 days away from home.
6180 miles driven from driveway to driveway towing an M416 with my 1997 LX450. She drank an additional 2 quarts of oil for the round trip. I can live with that.

Damage: Scratched the fiberglass cladding a bit. Dragged a lot of ass and used the sliders, bumpers, and skids for what they're intended. Lost one of the front wheel well skirts somewhere along the way.
Diagnosed/repaired/assisted repairs to 6 vehicles.
Yelled at folks to stop stacking rocks before I had a chance to reposition.
Tried to kill @woytovich once, maybe twice. Hard to say.
Met a bunch of pretty nice people. I hope we can stay in touch.

After living out of my truck for 6 days, it looked like REI, Cabela's, and Target exploded, and it smelled like the 4th floor bathroom in the Port Authority.

I learned that if you're from the west coast, apparently east coasters can't wheel.
I learned that if you're from the east coast, apparently west coasters can't wheel either.
I learned that if you're from Texas you should check you're nuts.

I got to grab a handful of @cruiserdan at the LC Heritage Museum along with some cool t-shirts and a toy. I don't want to tell Dan how to run his business, but Land Cruiser underwear is an untapped market.

Headed north to Jellystone through the Tetons which was spectacular. Got some cool pics and watched Old Faithful rub one out.

All in all it was a pretty epic journey and I got to cross another one off the old bucket list.

Again, thanks to the folks that put this together. I know what it takes and I appreciate the effort.

Are you sure it was only one or two times you wanted to chuck Mark underneath your truck?
He did try to run me over in the parking lot of a hotel on the way home, does that count?
