Upper! Anyone can point to a source for TJM AIRTEC for LX470 here in the states? Thanks in advance.

Drop @justdifferentials a line. He is a TJM dealer and used to carry them, that’s who I got mine from years ago. Looks like he has trimmed his TJM selection a bit, but he may still be able to get it.

GL:cheers:

Another TJM importer in the US is DirtyParts (Larry) Dirty Parts

They are pretty fast at responding and seem to have a lot of TJM stuff in stock.

You have me scared in THAT YOU THINK THAT I WILL SOLVE THIS. I can tell you I am making this my mission but I was not or Comm guy just our sniper and corpsman. So don't hold your breath for me company up with the answer but I thought that piece of info from another member was gold stating that the proper length for FM reception for an antenna is the magic number of 28". I think that is golden. AND WE WILL come high water or hell we will bring FM reception to our 100 series! I am not stopping until I put together something that equals are stock system or is better. The fight continues!!

YOU are always allowed to ask me question about the same mud and blood we have been though. I do find in funny (other SeAL teammates do NOT find it funny and get extremely physical) when someone is wear a SeAL t-shirt. I live in San Diego there are former SeALs all around the city, you would think if you were going to pretend to be a SeAL you would choose an area as far away from Virginia or San Diego. Like I said I saw yesterday -a man in a black polo shirt with the trident and the SERE school graduate shirt - that got my blood to boil b/c SERE was the hardest training evolution for ME. But I kept my mouth shut.

When I was younger and we had just been issued our "classified" LOL digital pattern uniforms. I saw a SGT wearing them in Tijuana and I asked him how long he had served (knowing he was not a former Marine) I was in a bad mood told him to remove his blouse and then took my EDC knife and cut the uniform in-half , put in in the trash can and told him to go straight home and remove and BURN those pants and if I saw you with them on again I would remove them with my knife while they were still on you and I would "try" not to sever your penis or balls or the entire area off. But I am more mellow now unless a guy is telling war stories and then I just make them leave the bar and take their ID so they know I know where the live. But for the most part I let the wannabes not bother me. What a terrible life to live. Maybe I am too soft I just figure that the ones who have been there do not talk about it. I think my excuse is being the Corpsman and having to write up the entire story (Nurse's Note) that is troubling the Marine or SeAL and I am then forced to bring in my own experience, SO I have heard and repeated my experiences more times than I can count. After I decided which M.D they should see than I escort them to the Doctor's office and wait outside so they can tell me things that they didn't want to tell the Dr. B/C I try to teach these guys that their is NO doctor -patient confidentiality IF you want to go from the armed forces to a Federal job (FBI< ATF< Secret Service, etc ,etc) b/c you will have a paper to sign that says you willing to release ALL of your meetings with the Doctor & psychologist. I knew this before I entered the armed forces b/c I had graduated Law School and was the best man in a friend's wedding who was a rookie ATF agent at the time. I am sure there will be people that are Doctors or Lawyers that will tell me I am wrong and all I can say is UNLESS you have worked for one or two of the companies I have worked for you do NOT know the whole truth. Just as I am more than willing to admit I know about 1% of what goes on above my pay-grade when it comes to current situations.

What BUD/s class and SQT class did you go through? And what Teams did you serve at?

10+ years on some of these TJM Airtec installs- curious to know from long time users how the plastic held up ; any cracks, UV fading etc.

wow, 10 years! no issues on this one, the 100 belongs to another club member now but I still see it often, and the snorkel's still doing its thing. Have had a tighten the screws running inside the A-pillar a couple times, also removed them to pull the snorkel a little out of the way for a windshield replacement a few years back... but really no issues to report of.
