The front Timbrens compared to OE. They should be a nice improvement.

I really like the build. Well thought out and cleanly executed. All most all trucks you will see with a camper in or on the bed are over the GVWR and or RAWR fully loaded wet, there just plane heavy. I am very interested in how you able to get the GVWR changed/ modified, I was under the impression that only the original manufacturer could do that, plus a 10000 pound GVWR for half ton Reg seems very high. I know my old 2015 super duty Diesel F250 had a GVWR rating of 9600 pounds and it had a full float rear axle and massive brakes and was not up to the task of carrying the camper I wanted. We've decided to keep building the Tiny House Tundra!! It has been a really fun build and I'm super stoked to keep it going.
I had been concerned that the truck is a bit over GVWR when fully loaded, however it handles everything we throw at it with aplomb. Perhaps if we were building rigs at a production level we would want to recertify them. On that note we were able to increase the GVWR to 10000 as this one is commercially registered.
We took the truck up to OEX west and it was really great on the highway, I rarely dropped below 80 mph from Tucson to Flagstaff and still got around 10.5 mpg. The Alcan rear springs keep it really flat in the corners and minimize any body roll. The nights at OEX were freezing but the heater in the 4WC Hawk kept us warm and provided an "employee lounge" for daily after action reports.

Since our last report we've changed to Evo Corse 17" wheels imported by Mainline Overland, really beautifully made wheels.

More soon
I was hoping you were going to tell us how you accomplished this.On that note we were able to increase the GVWR to 10000 as this one is commercially registered
The young man the the pictures should be wearing hearing protection. Hearing loss is no fun ask me how I know !!!!On another note...Time for the Tiny House Tundra to breathe cleaner air!View attachment 2355060View attachment 2355061View attachment 2355062View attachment 2355063
