Thoughts on these CEL codes?

My 94 LC threw me a CEL light after I put gas in.
I tightened the gas cap again and it went away but came right back on after some driving for about 20 min.
There was some pressure from gas cap but not sure if this is the problem?
Car runs fine. No stuttering. No smells. No leaks. As far as I can see at least.

I got these codes:
14
22
24
31
52

After searching this beautiful forum, it seems the common denominator is ECM.
Dumb question but can my LC run smoothly even with a faulty ECM?
Not even sure if that's the issue.

Anyways, would love to hear ya'lls thoughts. Thanks!

Just pulled the EFI fuse for about 30 sec.
CEL is gone.
But we'll seeeeeee if it comes back.

Ok. CEL comes back on. Like how I said, car runs fine. No stuttering. No smoke. No leaks. So far all seems fine.

I’ve pulled fuse for about 30 sec and I’ll re-tighten the gas cap. I’ll start car and no CEL. After about 15-20 of running the car, it’ll come back on. Every time.

This is dumb but I recently installed a new head unit. Any chance I fried something like the EMU? Or did I pop something?

before I go down the road of trying to figure out all the little gremlins, just wondering if there’s a simple thing I’m overlooking.

Find the P/N on your ECU. There was an issue on the 93 ECU's and if you have an early 94, you may have a bad ECU. Just a guess. Do a search on here for bad ECU codes because I THINK this list of codes kinda points that direction.

Just going from memory here so it may be taken with a grain of salt.....

Thank @BILT4ME . Ill search that.
Yea, I just find it odd that there's nothing else happening. Starts up fine and everything is running smooth. (knock on wood. Knock on a reallllly big piece of wood here).

Also, pulled the EFI fuse. Im reading that the ECU takes a good amount of startups and drives to re-adjust. Is this accurate?

Yes it will take about 30 start/stop cycles to lock in codes and parameters again.

Bump.

I couldn't find anything on bad 93 or 94 ECU's. Ive been driving the LC around in hopes that maybe its just the ECU needing to reset but it doesn't seem to be going away. I also feel like its idling really low now. Like 200 rpm. Maybe a little lower.

Do I basically need to start going down the line on all these codes? I just find it hard to believe that all of a sudden all these things started going bad all at once. I wonder if my recent head unit installation had anything to do with this. I was having some trouble because of the wrong harness. Could it have zapped the ECU? That might be a stupid question but I'm reaching here.

The codes I'm pulling:
CODE 14 - No ”IGF” signal to ECU
CODE 22 - Open or short circuit in water temp. sensor signal.
CODE 24 - Open or short circuit in intake air temp. sensor signal.
CODE 31 - Open circuit in VC and VS signal of short circuit between VS and E2 when idle contacts are closed.
CODE 52 - Knock sensor?

Main engine harness seems fine.
I still have to pull the ECU.

One of the many things I don't understand is the CEL always comes on after 5-10 min.
It turns over fine. No CEL light at first. Then the car warms up and as I drive it, it turns on. Idle around 300-400 rpm.

I'll check the ECU and I'll recheck all fuses.

Anything else I should check?

Thanks so much for the help .

Ok, so I've been reading A LOT .
Bear with me here. First cruiser and a total newbie to all of this.
Taking some old advice from past posts and retracing my steps and seeing what might have caused all this.

The car was running wonderfully. Took it on a 4.5 hour road trip. Came back, no problems.
Installed a new head unit and, like I said, total newb and trusted a Best Buy employee and got the wrong harness.
In an attempt to install, I did hear some pops in the speaker.
I finally got the right harness and all was good.
Unplugged a bunch of stuff to get the bottom dash off and plugged it all back in. (What a pain btw)

All was fine.
I went to get gas the next day and after 10 min. the CEL light came on.
Pulled codes:
CODE 14 - No ”IGF” signal to ECU
CODE 22 - Open or short circuit in water temp. sensor signal.
CODE 24 - Open or short circuit in intake air temp. sensor signal.
CODE 31 - Open circuit in VC and VS signal of short circuit between VS and E2 when idle contacts are closed.
CODE 52 - Knock sensor?

Is there any way I might have yanked a cable or zapped something?
Like I said, I very much mis-wired the head unit initially.
Just can't imagine all of a sudden these parts would fail at once based on the codes.
Im trying to narrow down and figure out the most logical first place to check/fix/replace so I don't waste time and money.

Thank everyone so much!
