Interesting then jack and jack handles were still in it in 1996. They were painted paint and the jack holder was missing. Know I bought one off eBay for cheap before early Land Cruisers were popular. Fuzzy where I got the other one.

This ^^^^ is what mine looks like.

Here is the strap under the passenger seat, I assume it strapped down the tool kit? Looks factory. And has metal tabs to maybe “cradle” the tool kit?

Please post a video if you do. Did these hand cranks come on any FJ40s?

Not sure if it came with all 40s, but the 2F crank nut (and earlier motors) is set up to allow it's use.
Pic stolen from the webs. Note that it's tapered to allow it to slip (in theory) to prevent the handle from spinning wildly once the engine starts. It will push the handle away from the crank nut. I know there's video of people starting them with the handle if you search enough.

Put the old Cruiser in a car show today…

Had a blast talking to folks and enjoying car culture. Lots of people love Cruisers.

I was too busy gawking at all the pretty Cruisers... man the old 40's represented at this show. I didn't take many pics. @OverLand Cruisers had quite the spread.
