thinking about dui dizzy

think i may go for the dui dizzy. what will be better vac on mic advanced? running carb ona 1f but think some time of doing tbi at some time.

Man-a-fre makes them now. $100 less than dui & they have them in stock.
I got a vac. its what my 78 came with.

Not alot to say, I like mine. It's probably not too hard on the DUI with a 2F, not many revs to 8,000 RPM. I have the older version(big cap), heard there is a smaller cap style.

Parts for the DUI can be had at any NAPA auto parts. Can't say that about most competitors.

My truck runs great with the newly installed DUI unit. I've got a 1F as well and had the carb ported for vac advance for the DUI dizzy. Noticeable difference in performance for me BUT before I had a worn rotor shaft on stock dizzy with no vac advance, so the engine wasn't running great to begin with... it was easy to notice an improvement in my case.

Can't comment if it makes a difference if you have a healthy dizzy and vac advance. HTH.

I installed a DUI HEI purchased directly from DUI a number of years ago. Very, very happy with the new set up. No issues thru the entire RPM range.
