POR15 is my friend!

Yeah it does make for a nice addition to the cruiser. Tomorrow fuel lines, Tank, and bolt up the engine assy.:bounce:

Man the engine is really going to stand out with the black frame & white fenders. Looking good Randy...

thats the fun part.

Yes the locker is at Randy's. Do you need the locker or the Cruiser for the test drive?:grinpimp:

I think I need that engine in there first but if I rub the lockers really hard they may engage and I could take it for a spin:flipoff2::lol:

My little space heater and the dryer. Just enough to take the chill off. Better than laying under a truck in the rain. Either way it is still fun for me.:D

a bottle of tequila might help...

Yup, working outside is no fun in the heat or the cold. :frown: Glad you got a garage to work in.

If I were to do the tekillya I might be warm but your truck would look a little different than the typical install:eek: Tonight get the tank back in and the lines run. Hopefully have the engine and tranny bolted up.

Good thing was that ML did a lot of cleaning before I got the truck so it is going a lot faster not having to clean off 10 years of oil and dirt.

vortec help ?

I will definetely take you up on the Q & A's to some of the little tweaks you've learned about doing these conversions. I can't wait to hear and feel this thing run!! Your clips are great as well.Any how I now have to pull mine to do some color on it, cause you made it look so good!! (also to do the engine compartment)
I appreciate the offer too!! I am glad to see these becoming more frequent for you, it seems to be your calling. great job.

I have been tinkering with my 60 now for about a year. I started a fab business around the same time, and was hoping to make the 60 my mobile business card. Things got crazy and I had to put my time and money into the business and neglect my baby.:crybaby: Like I said you have kicked me in the A** with your great work, and now I have to play catch-up !! Anyhow the suspension is formed of fj80 springs, johnny joints, 2" ..250 DOM links, 3 link /pan set-up in the front - triangulated 4 link in the rear. Could'nt afford the coil-overs at the time, but the way things are going I might be switching up soon!

THANKS,
Happy Holidays
RONDOG

Man that is a nice looking setup! I want to see more of that when you get going good. I like the welding for the new spring perches. What's the game plan on suspension? Let me know if there is anything I can help you out with. Sure is nice seeing all of these Vortec's running around!!

I know the feeling!! I am still trying to find a good base truck but I wouldn't have time to work on it. Make sure you get some more pic's of that suspension and engine. Looks really good!! Definately add some color! Nice to know I can still use a size 13 for something:D
