Every time I start looking at the more expensive lifts I keep reminding myself to keep it simple and go with the Bilstein's. I had an $800 Iron Man lift on my 80 Series and it was great plus I do a bit of wheeling in Baja so simple is always better.

I finally got a chance to add the 2'' wheel spacers and plasti-dip the wheels. Looks much better in my opinion. I still need bigger tires but will be added in a few months. Here are a few pics of the LEX with the new mods.

Looks great. I would leave the bump stops. I looked at the same thing when I did mine and did some measure and testing and found the bump stops are still needed.
Looks like you did Bilstein on the lower perch, Toytec 610lb front springs?, Hyper flex Rear? and then a Toytec strut spacer? I did all the above except the strut spacer. Got about 2 inches in the front and a GREAT ride. How is yours?

Thanks for the comments. I did the toytec 3'' lift kit with SPC UCAs and Bilstein coil overs with Eibach front springs and Toytec rear springs. I dont offroad with alot of weight so i did not get the heavy duty rear springs. No spacer up front just how the Bilstein front struts came. I thought the same thing when I saw other GXs with the similar lift. Looked like spacers but just part of the strut. I really like the ride. So much better than before but my base line was worn out front shock (very bouncy). Plus new bushing on upper and lower control arms with new ball joints helped to tighten things up. Still need to delete the running boards and add some sliders. $450 bolt ons from rocky road are what I want to go with. Then Bumpers front and rear when I get $4,000 saved up. Hard to bring myself to pay that much for bumpers.
That is a spacer. It adds lift. They sell a flat on that adds very little lift and then that one that adds more lift. I am not a expert on Toytec product line and how it's sold as a kit. But that sure looks like a spacer that adds lift to me. I attached a pic of my GX with the stock upper mount. You can see it's not nearly as tall as yours.

It has been a while sice I have up dated the forum to my GXs current condition. Most notably is my new wheels and tires. STT Pros on MB wheels. OPOR Sliders and steel bumper w winch is next. Here are a few shots.

I will take some pics tomorrow. The seat covers are Neoprene wet okole seat covers with full piping. They send you swatches before you order to ensure your color preference. They are a bit expensive but are worth it IMO, and my leather is starting to crack. They run over $300 for just the front two seats. I did not get the back. But if they rip or wear they will repair them free. Not bad. I have also had good luck with cover king neoprene seat covers. Was also interested in trying the codura fabric water proof and tear proof seat covers which were a bit cheaper. But these are super comfortable and i like the feel. Extra padding in an already comfortable seat.
