Nice and clean. This filament fits the tan interior really good.
Well I gave up. It didn’t turn out to my liking. I bought seat covers from Marathon. Plan to have them recovered eventually. How has your seat repair and dye job held up?
We are now 3X Locked and Re-Geared to 4.88’s!
Thanks to @duggy for assistance with the build.
How is this holding up? Did you use adhesion promoter or a top coat?Completed my front passenger door refresh (did driver door earlier in this build thread).
Re-dyed the dark oak leather and vinyl at top of door panel that had faded over the years. Fixed a few nicks in the vinyl and reglued some vinyl edges that had come loose around the lip of the storage bin on the door.
I have a nick in my speaker grill cloth. Looking now to pick up a used one in good condition or will be recovering all 4 grill covers in the future.
Next plan for front passenger door is updating door actuator with new one from Aisin (already purchased), clean and lube window tracks, Dynomat door, and new speakers with crossover.

Holding up really well. Didn’t use a topcoat. I had to redo the armrest on driver door. Apparently oil from skin seeps into that leather and doesn’t do well with a water based dye. It was just slightly tacky feeling. Make sure you clean it really good with a degreaser, let dry, and then apply water based dye.How is this holding up? Did you use adhesion promoter or a top coat?
Curious if you ever added lights to those Trail Tailor mounts and how you ran the wire. I added lights to mine and just ran the wire in over the seal, but I think water is getting in somehow maybe dripping down the wire. I’d like to see someone’s better solution.Installed my new @TRAIL TAILOR rear light brackets today. Next up will be wiring up some new lights.
